Walker Buehler was excellent in a no decision against the Rockies on Monday, giving up just one run over seven innings with six strikeouts.

Buehler allowed just two hits on the evening, but one of them was a solo shot by Gerardo Parra to tie the game at 1-1 and eliminate him from factoring in the decision. Outside of that, the right-hander was spectacular, and consistently fooled the Colorado lineup through his seven innings. It's an excellent bounce-back from his struggles on Wednesday, and his ERA drops to 2.38 with 40 strikeouts in 34 innings. Buehler's back on the mound next Monday against the Phillies.

German Marquez gave up just one run over seven strong innings against the Dodgers in a 2-1 victory on Monday.

Marquez allowed just two hits, and he walked two and struck out five. Outside of a solo homer by Max Muncy, Marquez was exceptional, and there wasn't much hard contact against the right-hander throughout. The right-hander has had a few clunkers this season, but he's pitched better than his 4.62 ERA and 1.50 WHIP might suggest. He'll have a chance to lower both on Sunday when he faces the Reds.

Rougned Odor belted his first home run of the season Monday in the Rangers' loss to the Yankees.

Odor took Masahiro Tanaka deep for a three-run shot in the bottom of the fourth inning. That tied the game at 4-4, though the Yankees would go on to win 10-5. It's been a rough start to the year for Odor, but he's capable of getting hot for stretches and this is hopefully the start of something good.

Joey Gallo went 1-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and two runs scored Monday in the Rangers' loss to the Yankees.

Gallo clubbed a second-inning solo shot off Yankees starter Masahiro Tanaka for his 14th home run of the season. He's batting .201 with a .281 on-base percentage, but the 24-year-old slugger has managed to tally 31 RBI and 27 runs scored in 48 games.

Neil Walker hit his first homer of the season on Monday night in Texas.

It was a solo shot in the top of the fourth inning, part of a four-homer Yankees barrage against Rangers starter Bartolo Colon. Walker also had an RBI double in the top of the second, which gave New York its first run of the night. The 32-year-old still has a weak .291/.302/.298 overall batting line in 32 total games this season and carries no fantasy relevance at the moment.

Aaron Judge slugged his 12th home run of the season Monday in the Yankees' win over the Rangers.

Judge hit a solo homer off Bartolo Colon in the top of the fifth inning and then doubled and scored in the top of the sixth, finishing the night 2-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored. The 26-year-old slugger has a tremendous .986 OPS, 36 RBI, and 35 runs scored in 45 games this season.

Masahiro Tanaka yielded four earned runs in five innings but earned his fifth win of the season Monday against the Rangers.

Tanaka walked four batters but held Texas to three hits and moved to 5-2 on the year behind another strong showing by the Yankees' offense. The 29-year-old right-hander will carry an underwhelming 4.95 ERA into his next start at home against the Angels.
May 21 - 11:48 PM

Bartolo Colon gave up six earned runs over 5 1/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Yankees.

Colon entered the night with a shiny 2.82 season ERA, but that number climbed to 3.51 by the time the Bronx Bombers were done with him. He surrendered four home runs -- two of them to 21-year-old top Yankees prospect Gleyber Torres. Colon will bring a 2-2 record into his next scheduled start at home against the Royals. Kansas City's offense is just slightly less potent.
