Carlos Carrasco will be activated from the disabled list to start Thursday against the Royals.

Carrasco, out since late-April with a hamstring strain, tossed four innings of one-run ball with six strikeouts in his lone minor league rehab start with Double-A Akron on Saturday. He'll be limited to around 80 pitches in his return to action.
May 31 - 3:25 PM

Dexter Fowler (heel) is back in Tuesday's lineup against the Dodgers.

Fowler was held out of Monday's lineup with a sore right heel, but he's going to try to give it a go. Jason Heyward will move back over to right field while Jorge Soler will play left.
May 31 - 3:21 PM

Brewers designated INF Colin Walsh for assignment.

The move clears a spot for the newly-claimed Neil Ramirez on the 40-man roster. Walsh, a Rule 5 pick from the Athletics, went 4-for-47 (.085) with 22 strikeouts and 15 walks during his time with the Brewers.
May 31 - 3:19 PM

Derek Dietrich (head) is back in Tuesday's lineup against the Pirates.

Dietrich was hit in the head by a ball which ricocheted off a wall in the dugout, but fortunately he was cleared of concussion symptoms. He came off the bench to replace the injured Miguel Rojas (shoulder) on Monday and should be good to go moving forward.
May 31 - 3:16 PM

Giancarlo Stanton (side) is out of the Marlins' lineup again Tuesday against the Pirates.

Stanton has now missed seven straight starts due soreness in his right side, but the Marlins continue to say that he's not too far off. Ichiro Suzuki is starting in right field and batting leadoff.
May 31 - 3:14 PM

Marlins activated LHP Mike Dunn from the 15-day disabled list.

Dunn has been out all year with a forearm strain, but he's finally ready to make his season debut. The southpaw tossed three scoreless innings with a 5/0 K/BB ratio with High-A Jupiter during his minor league rehab assignment.
May 31 - 3:07 PM

Marlins designated RHP Edwin Jackson for assignment.

The move clears a spot for Mike Dunn on the active roster. Jackson gets the boot after giving over six runs over his last two appearances.
May 31 - 3:05 PM

Orioles recalled C Francisco Peña from Triple-A Norfolk.

He'll replace the injured Caleb Joseph (testicular injury) on the active roster. Peña, 26, was batting just .200/.241/.250 over 87 plate appearances in Triple-A and can be ignored in fantasy leagues.
