Matt Cassel fractured several bones in his foot during Sunday's Week 3 loss at New Orleans and is out indefinitely.

Sep 21 - 4:11 PM

Justin Forsett gained 63 yards on 11 carries and caught four passes for two yards in the Ravens' Week 3 win over the Browns.

Lorenzo Taliaferro was Baltimore's primary back with Bernard Pierce (thigh) inactive, as Forsett handled mainly change-of-pace and passing-down work. Taliaferro averaged 5.1 YPC on 18 carries. The Ravens clearly see Forsett as a spot back, limiting his fantasy appeal. He's a low-ceiling RB4 in fantasy leagues.
Sep 21 - 4:10 PM

Aaron Rodgers completed 16-of-27 passes for 162 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in the Packers' 19-7, Week 3 loss to the Lions.

Sep 21 - 4:09 PM

Tom Brady completed 24-of-37 passes for 234 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Raiders.

The Patriots were held in check for most of the game by Oakland's pass defense, and Brady didn't have any deep completions. His touchdown came on a six-yard pass to Rob Gronkowski. Brady should of had a second touchdown, but both Gronkowski and Danny Amendola dropped wide-open passes in the end-zone. Brady has struggled in his first three games, and his lack of accuracy of downfield throws is becoming a concern. Brady will be just a low-end option against the Chiefs on Monday night in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:08 PM

Jake Locker completed just 17-of-34 passes for 185 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Titans' Week 3, 33-7 blowout loss to the Bengals.

After a strong Week 1 against the Chiefs, Locker has followed it up with two duds. He's tossed one touchdown to four picks the past two games. Locker at least saved his fantasy day a bit with 50 rush yards. As a passer, he missed too many throws, often overshooting his receivers. Locker could have easily thrown another interception or two. Locker and the Titans travel to Indianapolis in Week 4. It's a favorable matchup, but Locker is an untrustworthy QB2.
Sep 21 - 4:08 PM

Joe Flacco completed 19-of-31 passes for 217 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in the Ravens' Week 3 win over the Browns.

He added six yards on four carries, but was stuffed on a goal-line sneak. Flacco's fourth-quarter 32-yard strike to Steve Smith Sr. was the big play in this game, setting up Justin Tucker's game-winning field goal. Through three games, Flacco has a TD-to-INT ratio of 4-2. He'll be a low-end QB2 when the Ravens take on the Panthers' stout defense in Week 4.
Sep 21 - 4:07 PM

Lorenzo Taliaferro rushed 18 times for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' Week 3 win over the Browns, 23-21.

He was not targeted in the passing game, but showed superior interior running ability to Justin Forsett, handling the 18 carries to Forsett's 11. A fourth-round rookie out of Coastal Carolina, Taliaferro should remain in the mix for carries in OC Gary Kubiak's backfield entering a Week 4 date with the Panthers. Bernard Pierce was inactive for Week 3 with a thigh injury and his status moving forward is unclear. As is the pecking order in Kubiak's backfield. A pile-pushing power back, Taliaferro needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues.
Sep 21 - 4:04 PM

Giovani Bernard rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in the Bengals' 33-7, Week 3 blowout win over the Titans.

Bernard added one catch for seven yards. His best run of the day was a 12-yard gain off a spin move. Other than that, there weren't a ton of holes to be found. Bernard got much of the court quarter off, with Jeremy Hill coming in to rack up garbage-time carries. Both of Bernard's touchdowns were of the one-yard variety. He now has three scores through three games. Bernard and the Bengals head into their bye week before traveling to New England in Week 5.
