The Houston Chronicle reports Ryan Mallett (pectoral) is done for the season.

Nov 24 - 1:09 PM

Nick Foles (broken collarbone) is due for a follow-up appointment either this week or next.

The absolute best-case scenario for Foles was thought to be a six-week recovery timetable following his Nov. 2 fracture. That means Week 14, although no one is really expecting that. We also don't know if Foles will even get his starting job back at that point as he wasn't playing at a very high level prior to the injury. Replacement Mark Sanchez has been equally mediocre, but is 2-1 as the starter with three 300-yard games.
Nov 24 - 12:43 PM

Steelers OLB Jarvis Jones (wrist surgery) is practicing Monday.

Jones remains on injured reserve with a designation for return. Assuming all goes smoothly, he'll likely be activated sometime in the next two weeks. This Steelers defense desperately needs Jones, Troy Polamalu, Ryan Shazier and even Ike Taylor back as soon as possible.
Nov 24 - 11:44 AM

Marquess Wilson played on 29-of-59 snaps (49.1 percent) in Sunday's win over the Bucs.

It was a major downgrade from Week 11, when Wilson was in on 74.3 percent of the snaps. Regardless, he's seen just seven targets over the last two weeks and produced 3-21-0. Wilson is only a Brandon Marshall/Alshon Jeffery handcuff in redraft, but a strong hold in Dynasty.
Nov 24 - 11:34 AM

49ers ILB Navorro Bowman (knee, PUP) has still not resumed practicing.

Bowman has not had any setbacks as he comes off ACL and MCL surgery sustained last January. But he's still not feeling right and it's unclear when he'll return to action. The 49ers have until Dec. 9 to decide whether to put Bowman on their active roster or keep him on PUP for the rest of the season.
Nov 24 - 11:20 AM

The Indianapolis Star says "it's becoming more and more apparent that (Reggie Wayne) has lost a step."

Wayne was not good against the Jags on Sunday, catching 3-of-9 targets for 10 yards and failing to separate. It's what we'd expect out of a 36-year-old wideout one year removed from blowing out his knee. Wayne isn't going anywhere as a solid possession receiver and security blanket for Andrew Luck, but he's capped at the WR3 level. He's averaging just 4.0 catches for 44.2 yards with one touchdown over the last five weeks.
Nov 24 - 10:52 AM

Kyle Rudolph played on 61-of-69 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Packers.

In his first game off sports hernia surgery in Week 11, Rudolph played on just 14 snaps and had no catches. The chains were taken off Sunday, as he went 3-50-0 on five targets and got back to a near every-down role. Given the thin state of the tight end position and Rudolph's red-zone chops, he's a TE1 candidate against the Panthers in Week 13.
Nov 24 - 10:47 AM

Vikings WR Charles Johnson played on 67-of-69 snaps in Sunday's loss to the Packers.

Even with Greg Jennings (ribs) and Jarius Wright (hamstring) active, Johnson was a full-time player. It's an exciting revelation for a player we've long been tracking because he goes 6'2/217 and runs a 4.38. Over the last two weeks, Johnson has totaled 9-139-1 on a team-high 18 targets, emerging as the No. 1 receiver for Teddy Bridgewater. Johnson makes for an intriguing deeper-league streamer in a home game against the Panthers' weak corner corps in Week 13. Jennings is done, Patterson is far too raw and Wright is a sub-average player that's been passed on the depth chart.
