Justin Anderson has been traded to the 76ers.

The Mavericks are sending Anderson and a first-round pick to Philly in exchange for Nerlens Noel. Anderson couldn't have landed in a better situation, as the 76ers are very thin on talent on the wings other than Robert Covington. Anderson has per-36 minute averages of 16.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.9 triples, so he has intriguing upside. He's worth a pickup in standard leagues to see how this plays out.

The 76ers are sending Nerlens Noel to Dallas for Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut and a first-round draft pick, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

And we're off. The 76ers have been trying to deal Jahlil Okafor at a steep discount, but they still can't get anything done. The Dallas pick is protected from 1-18 in the June draft, so it almost certainly won't be this season. The Mavs have liked Noel for a while and will try to get an extension done with him. He should be their center of the future in a slower pace. In Philly Richaun Holmes could be the backup behind Joel Embiid, assuming Okafor is traded.

The Celtics have improved their offer for Paul George, but still haven't met Indiana's asking price.

The Celtics are now willing to include their 2017 first-round pick (via Brooklyn) which will likely be a top-3 selection. It sounds like the two teams are in advanced discussions, but Indiana's asking price is understandably very high. We'll have an update shortly.

Aron Baynes (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Hornets.

Baynes has an expiring contract, so he's a trade candidate as well. If Baynes remains in Detroit past the deadline and sits out tonight, Andre Drummond will have a higher floor and we could see more of Boban Marjanovic and Jon Leuer.

The Celtics have held preliminary talks with the Pacers about Paul George.

To be clear, the talks have stalled and won't go anywhere unless the Celtics include their 2017 first-round pick (via Brooklyn). George can hit the open market in 2018 and he does have a lot of reported interest in joining his hometown Lakers, so acquiring him would be a risk for Boston without some type of commitment.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today, the Suns would move Brandon Knight for a high second-round pick or an expiring contract.

The Suns have been shopping him unsuccessfully and a second-round pick might be ambitious at this point. Knight has been a disaster this season and is on the books through the 2019-20 season. He could have some value if he's moved to an ideal location, but there are better stashes out there right now. No trade is imminent.

The Suns recalled Derrick Jones Jr. on Thursday.

Airplane Mode did throw down two of the best dunks on Saturday, but too many misses in the final cost him. Jones won't be in the rotation unless the Suns get crazy at the deadline.

The Wolves are determined to move Shabazz Muhammad according to TNT reporter David Aldridge.

The Wolves still have their eyes on a playoff push and Ricky Rubio and Muhammad are the most likely to be moved. Muhammad is a pure scorer with very little upside in standard fantasy leagues, so he doesn't have much stash appeal. He's averaging 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 3-pointers in 19.6 minutes this season and he's been linked to the Rockets and Wizards so far.
