Andrew Suarez surrendered just one run in 5 2/3 innings but had to settle for a no-decision as his team beat the Padres on Saturday.

His only big mistake was deposited over the left field wall for a solo home run by outfielder Hunter Renfroe in the fourth inning. Suarez allowed eight hits and one walk while fanning four in the ballgame. He fell one out short of a quality start. His record holds at 2-4 with a 4.43 ERA after 12 starts. He has a nice 61:13 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 65 innings and that indicates good things are in store for the left-hander as the season progresses.

Adrian Beltre went 3-for-5 with a homer and two runs scored on Saturday, leading the Rangers to a 9-6 victory over the Twins.

Beltre crushed a solo homer in the fourth inning, increasing the Rangers' advantage to 9-2. The veteran third baseman is now hitting .314/.365/.456 with four homers and 25 RBI.

Willy Adames went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two total RBI in Saturday's win over the Yankees.

Adames came through with an RBI single off Sonny Gray in the second inning before later cracking him for a solo seventh-inning homer down the right field line which held fair for the shortstop. While he's hitting just .231/.268/.365 in 52 at-bats this season, he's been a thorn in the Yankees' side this weekend, having driven in three total runs while picking up four hits through the first two games of the three-game set.

Robinson Chirinos homered and drove in three runs on Saturday as the Rangers triumphed over the Twins.

Chirinos drew a bases loaded walk in the second inning, then crushed a two-run homer in the third. He's now hitting .197/.312/.393 with nine homers and 25 RBI.

A.J. Ellis went 3-for-3 with a walk and an RBI during Saturday's loss to the Giants.

His ninth-inning infield single plated two runs but he was credited with only one RBI due to an error on the play. Ellis is serving as the Padres' primary catcher right now while Austin Hedges spends time on the disabled list recovering from an elbow injury. He has a .337 batting average but just one homer and 10 RBI in 31 games.

Keone Kela recorded the final two outs against the Twins on Saturday to earn his 18th save.

The Rangers entered the ninth inning with a 9-4 advantage, but Kela had to be summoned after the Twins scratched out a pair of runs. While his ERA is a bit inflated, he has done a terrific job in the ninth inning for the Rangers and has a high level of job security.

Hunter Renfroe went 2-for-4 and cracked a solo home run in a loss to the Giants on Saturday.

His fourth-inning tater off starter Andrew Suarez opened the game's scoring but it was all Giants after that. The nice game boosts his batting average to .237 with four home runs and 19 RBI in 40 games. The former first round draft pick and top prospect has struggled to adjust to the major leagues but still might develop into a fantasy asset over the next couple of seasons.

The Rays will give Matt Andriese his third start of the year Sunday against the Yankees.

Andriese, who has a 3.68 ERA, last pitched Monday, allowing three runs in 2 2/3 innings of relief. His long outing of the year is 3 2/3 innings, also in relief (he's pitched 3 1/3 innings and three innings in his two starts).
