Falcons released SS William Moore.

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins will "definitely" move on from DE Quinton Coples.

Coples has a $7.8 million team option the Dolphins clearly aren't going to exercise. Coples' entire salary will come off the books. The ex-Jet played 78 snaps in five games as a Dolphin, failing to register so much as a tackle.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports police are seeking arrest warrants in the LeSean McCoy nightclub case.

McCoy, as well as ex-Charger Curtis Brinkley and two other men, are alleged to have severely beaten three off-duty police officers, hospitalizing two of them. The brawl apparently erupted after McCoy's group attempted to co-opt a bottle of champagne. The Bills are "aware" of the incident.

Eagles released WR Riley Cooper.

The move is more than a year overdue. Cooper was one of the league's worst receivers in 2015, catching only 21 passes while diminishing as a blocker. Since averaging 17.8 yards per catch in 2013, Cooper has managed only 11.9 yards per grab. He doesn't make plays. The transaction frees up $2.9 million in cap space, and creates $8.7 million in real savings. There's $2.4 million in dead money. There were three years left on his deal, but 2018 was voidable. Going on 29, Cooper's phone won't be ringing off the hook. 49ers fans should be worried that coach Chip Kelly might want a reunion in San Francisco.

Free agent Vernon Davis played only 19 postseason snaps.

Davis' Broncos tenure was as big of a dud as possible. He made huge mistakes in the regular season before being phased out down the stretch. Now 32, Davis remains a rare athlete for a tight end, but the finer points of his game have eroded. He'll likely have to settle for a one-year, incentive-laden deal in free agency.

Golden Tate said Calvin Johnson's "body just isn't holding up."

"When the rumors came out he was going to leave Detroit...I thought it might have been a money thing, or his contract was up, is what I initially thought. Because he showed up to work as the same Calvin that we've always known," Tate said. "But his body just isn't holding up." The Lions have reportedly had concerns about Johnson's ankles for several seasons. He missed three games and was limited in others with a high-ankle sprain in 2014, and his practice time was scaled back because of ankle issues last season. Dealing with real health concerns, it is not surprising Johnson is seriously considering retirement.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's D. Orlando Ledbetter said the Falcons "appear to be leaning toward retaining" Roddy White.

With White set to count just over $6.1 million against the salary cap, there has been speculation the Falcons will move on from their declining No. 2 receiver. GM Thomas Dimitroff recently said, "It's not always about the talent," however, and coach Dan Quinn has talked about White's value as a "competitor and leader." It would still be surprising if White is back on his current deal, but it looks like the Falcons are at least open to the idea.

Philadelphia Police confirmed two off-duty officers were hospitalized after an altercation inside a nightclub early Sunday morning.

The two off-duty officers were allegedly assaulted by four assailants after an argument over a bottle of champagne at approximately 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning. LeSean McCoy is believed to be one of the alleged assailants. One of the officers suffered a laceration to his right eye, a broken nose, broken ribs and a sprained thumb. The other officer needed stitches over his left eye and is receiving treatment for a possible skull fracture. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
