Kyle Lowry (right wrist) will not play against the Celtics on Friday night.

Ouch. Coach Dwane Casey said he doesn't know how long Lowry will be out and the team announced he will receive further evaluation over the weekend. Lowry has owned the Celtics this season, but now the Raptors will have to turn to Cory Joseph as their primary scoring one. Although, it is certainly possible Delon Wright or Fred VanVleet get the start. DeMar DeRozan should be very busy tonight.

Anthony Morrow is available for Friday against the Suns.

The Bulls are dying for 3-pointers and maybe they could use Morrow. That said, he's not a lock for playing time and most fantasy owners can take a wait-and-see approach.
Feb 24 - 6:22 PM

Joffrey Lauvergne will be active but is not expected to play Friday night vs. the Suns.

This means more minutes for starter Bobby Portis. Nikola Mirotic will also likely to see a bump in playing time. The Bulls next game is Saturday vs. the Cavs. We could see Lauvergne make his Bulls debut then.
Feb 24 - 6:20 PM

Cameron Payne (illness) will not play against the Suns on Friday.

The other former Thunder players are good to go, but Payne has the flu. The Bulls overpaid for Payne, so they will likely give him decent minutes once he gets a grip on the offense. He'll have a lot of bumps in the road in his new role, but he's worth a look in fantasy leagues if you need a point guard.
Feb 24 - 6:20 PM

Omer Asik (illness) will not play on Saturday against the Mavs.

Asik is not expected to be in the rotation with DeMarcus Cousins in the fold.
Feb 24 - 6:11 PM

P.J. Tucker is available to play against the Celtics on Friday night.

The Raptors kept Serge Ibaka out for his game after a trade, but the Raptors will have Tucker available off the bench. He will likely be used as a second-unit defender, but he could take minutes away from DeMarre Carroll when Carroll goes into one of his numerous slumps. Tucker is more of a drop than an add.
Feb 24 - 6:09 PM

Doug McDermott is available to play against the Lakers on Friday.

It'll be interesting to see how the Thunder will use McBuckets. Russell Westbrook sure could use another shooter out there next to him, especially with Andre Roberson only making 25.0 percent from deep off Westbrook passes. McDermott's defense will hold him back from seeing big minutes, so he's not a pickup just yet.
Feb 24 - 6:06 PM

Taj Gibson will be available to play and is expected to make his OKC debut on Friday night vs. the Lakers.

Domantas Sabonis has started at power forward for each of the Thunder's 57 games this season. It's unknown if Gibson will come off the bench on Friday. Gibson was playing over 27 minutes a night as the starter in Chicago. Even if he eventually starts in OKC, Enes Kanter (arm) will cut into his playing time once Kanter returns to the lineup. Thus, Thursday's trade will likely dimish Gibson's fantasy value.
