Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor (groin) is out for Week 8 against the Saints.
He'll be missing his third straight game. Chancellor hasn't resumed practicing yet and remains week to week. Kelcie McCray will draw another start at strong safety.
Packers CB Quinten Rollins (groin) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Green Bay will be without all three of its top cornerbacks against Atlanta, with Sam Shields (concussion) on I.R. and Damarious Randall recovering from groin surgery. Ladarius Gunter and Demetri Goodson will start against Julio Jones.
Tyler Lockett (thigh) is questionable for Week 8 against the Saints.
Lockett was limited at Wednesday's practice but returned to a full session on Thursday. He'll be fine for Sunday's game at the Superdome. Lockett makes for an interesting dart throw as a WR4 in a great matchup against the Saints' useless secondary.
Russell Wilson returned to a full practice on Friday.
Limited Wednesday and Thursday with knee and pectoral injuries, Wilson resumed practicing at full tilt Friday and will be all systems go at New Orleans.
Seahawks DE/DT Michael Bennett (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Bennett and SS Kam Chancellor (groin) are difference makers, and their absences will be felt in the Superdome. These are upgrades to Drew Brees' matchup, in addition to Mark Ingram's.
Broncos placed RB C.J. Anderson on injured reserve with a torn meniscus.
The Broncos took a few days to debate it but ultimately decided to give Anderson the full eight weeks to recover rather than rushing him back. This effectively puts Anderson out for the remainder of the fantasy season. He can be dropped in redraft formats. Fourth-round rookie Devontae Booker will lead the backfield during Anderson's absence.
Ty Montgomery (illness) is listed as questionable for Week 8.
He was "limited" in practice again on Friday. Players almost never sit when listed with an "illness," and there have been no indications that Montgomery is in danger of missing Sunday's game against Atlanta, whose defense has been gashed by backfield options all season long.
Devonta Freeman (hip) is no longer on the Falcons' Week 8 injury report.
Freeman was limited on Wednesday but has practiced fully the last two days. With Tevin Coleman (hamstring) out, Freeman will be the Falcons' unquestioned workhorse Sunday against the Packers. Even in a tough matchup, Freeman is a no-brainer RB1 this week.
