Browns placed SS Derrick Kindred (ankle) on reserve/NFI, ending his season.
Kindred somehow suffered a broken ankle during the bye week. The fourth-round rookie played 122 of 125 defensive snaps the past two weeks. This expansion team-level defense continues to take hits and is one to attack.
The Oakland defense has recorded multiple turnovers in four consecutive games.
The Raiders D/ST has racked up 10 sacks in those same four games, producing at least seven fantasy points in each contest. Oakland went 4-0 on the four-game homestand, and their defense is beginning to show signs of life after a sluggish start to the season. The Raiders D/ST will be a mid-range fantasy option in Week 14 at Arrowhead Stadium against the Chiefs, who have turned the ball over just 11 times in 2016.
The New York Giants' defense will be without DE Jason Pierre-Paul (hernia) for the remainder of the season.
This development will be a blow to the Giants' pass rush that had shown improvement with 18 sacks since a Week 8 bye. JPP chipped in with 5.5 sacks in Weeks 11 and 12 before suffering the injury during the first half in Week 13, and his only hope for a potential return is if the Giants roll to the NFC Championship game. Romeo Okwara and Kerry Wynn filled-in after Pierre-Paul's departure. The Giants D/ST will not be an advisable fantasy start on Sunday night at home against Dallas.
Bucs WR Adam Humphries is in the league's concussion protocol.
With Humphries questionable for Week 14 and Cecil Shorts (knee) done for the year, Russell Shepard is now the default No. 2 receiver. Freddie Martino and Josh Huff round out the rest of this injury-riddled depth chart.
Jordan Reed (shoulder) participated in individual drills Wednesday.
According to ESPN Redskins reporter John Keim, Reed caught passes with both hands, showing no discomfort. But once the Redskins got into one-on-one and team drills, Reed was an observer from the sideline. We likely won't know Reed's Week 14 status against the Eagles until later in the week.
Jets re-signed RB Khiry Robinson.
Robinson was waived-injured ahead of Week 1, as he wasn't completely recovered from his broken leg. Now healthy, he'll be the No. 3 back behind Matt Forte and Bilal Powell. Brandon Wilds was alos elevated from the practice squad.
Redskins designated C Kory Lichtensteiger (calf) as their I.R.-return player.
He's at practice Wednesday and is expected to be active Week 14 against the Eagles. Spencer Long has been starting at center but is in the concussion protocol. Lichtensteiger will be a big downgrade for the running game.
A.J. Green (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.
Green isn't expected to play this week against the Browns, but Week 15 might be an option.
