Dose: Keenum Rescues Vikes

In a 13-minute documentary on Uninterrupted, Josh Gordon discussed his history of drug use, his suspensions, his relationship with Roger Goodell, and his future.

The documentary (linked below) is worth a watch. Gordon admitted to using several drugs including Xanax, cocaine, and codeine in addition to marijuana and admitted his first trip to rehab in 2014 was just a "publicity stunt." He says his latest trip -- this documentary was filmed in the midst of it -- is different, however, and the entire experience "has been humbling." Now out of rehab, Gordon is expected to apply for reinstatement soon.

Rams coach Sean McVay said he will "continue to try and find ways to get the ball" to Sammy Watkins.

Watkins has just six targets the last two games, and he was held without a catch against the Seahawks for just the second time in his career. Watkins made some noise about the lack of work on Twitter, responding to a tweet from Torry Holt which questioned his workload by saying, "Something gotta be going on." McVay said he spoke with Watkins about his frustrations and does not think the last two games "are indicative of his production for the rest of the season." That is likely true, but Cooper Kupp looks like the better fantasy option right now, especially with the Jaguars up next.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Sam Bradford "aggravated" his knee injury Monday night.

Bradford did not look comfortable from the start, but he did seem to get worse as the game progressed. "He aggravated his injury when he got tackled on one of the plays," Zimmer said. "He wanted to stay in there and fight but I didn't want to get him injured anymore." Bradford did not look anywhere close to ready for an NFL game on Monday night, suggesting Case Keenum will remain under center against the Packers. Teddy Bridgewater is eligible to return from the PUP list next week.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said DE Michael Bennett is dealing with a "plantar fasciitis injury."

"He is really sore today," Carroll said. "But he was able to finish the game and did a fantastic job to help us down the stretch." The fact Bennett was able to finish the game is a good sign, and Seattle is on bye this week. Bennett should be good to go after the off week.

Lions signed DE Datone Jones.

A first-round pick of the Packers in 2013, Jones spent the offseason with the Vikings, so he just needs a stint with the Bears to complete his NFC North bingo card. Minnesota released Jones with an injury settlement because of a shoulder issue, but he is apparently healthy now. He should help out as a situational rusher for Detroit.

Free agent DE/OLB Lamarr Houston is visiting the Texans on Tuesday.

Apparently healthy and ready to return, Houston met with the Bucs on Monday. The Texans certainly need defensive help after losing both J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus to season-ending injuries. It looks like Houston will find a new team in the coming days.

Giants signed WR Ed Eagan from their practice squad.

The Giants are desperately thin at receiver following season-ending injuries to Odell Beckham and Brandon Marshall as well as an ankle issue for Sterling Shepard, but it is unlikely Eagan contributes much on offense. He could help out as a returner.

Markus Wheaton caught 1-of-4 targets for zero yards in the Bears' Week 5 loss to the Vikings.

Progress. In his first two games with Chicago, Wheaton was catch-less on five targets. He now at least has a grab, but it didn't gain any yards. Wheaton led the Bears in snaps played with 46 on Monday night, but he's very clearly a pedestrian player. Wheaton belongs nowhere near fantasy rosters.
