Randall Delgado tossed 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball but took a no-decision in the Diamondbacks' loss to the Pirates on Monday.

Pittsburgh won the game on a walkoff homer by Andrew McCutchen in the bottom of the ninth inning. Archie Bradley served it up and took the loss. Delgado did his part, striking out eight batters and issuing zero walks while limiting the Bucs to five hits over 5 1/3 good frames. The right-hander should get another turn in the Arizona rotation, and it'll probably come over the weekend in Miami.

Chris Stewart was lifted from Monday's game versus the Diamondbacks with a left upper calf/hamstring injury.

It looks to be a day-to-day situation. Expect Francisco Cervelli to handle the catching for the Pirates for the next few days.

Koda Glover earned his sixth save of the season Monday in the Nationals' 3-0 blanking of the Giants.

Glover finished off the shutout with an easy 1-2-3 ninth inning, striking out two of the three batters he faced. The newly-anointed Nationals closer boasts a 2.20 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 15/2 K/BB ratio in 16 1/3 total innings this season. He hasn't allowed a run since April 25.

Gregory Polanco is expected to miss a couple games after being diagnosed with a sprained right ankle.

It certainly could have been much worse after Polanco needed to be carted off the field Monday when he tweaked his ankle as he ran into the side wall in the outfield. However, it appears that he's managed to avoid a serious injury.
May 29 - 7:47 PM

Tanner Roark worked seven shutout innings Monday in the Nationals' win over the Giants.

Roark scattered six hits and one walk over his seven scoreless frames, striking out six. He's been dominant in two straight outings since getting hammered for seven earned runs May 18 against the Pirates. Roark will bring a 5-2 record and an improving 3.86 ERA into his next start on the road versus the Athletics.
May 29 - 7:45 PM

Chris Coghlan was scratched from Monday's lineup due to lower back spasms.

Consider him day-to-day. Ezequiel Carrera took Coghlan's spot in left field.
May 29 - 7:45 PM

Ryan Zimmerman went 3-for-4 with a home run Monday in the Nationals' defeat of the Giants.

Zimmerman slugged a solo shot off Giants starter Matt Moore in the top of the second inning and singled and scored in the top of the sixth. He also singled immediately after Bryce Harper and Hunter Strickland's on-field brawl in the top of the eighth. Zimmerman has an incredible .374/.413/.707 batting line with 14 home runs and 40 RBI in 48 games this season for the first-place Nationals.
May 29 - 7:43 PM

Matt Moore allowed just two earned runs over seven innings but took a loss Monday versus the Nationals.

Moore struck out five and didn't issue a walk, but he did give up six hits -- including a home run to Ryan Zimmerman in the top of the second inning. San Francisco's offense backed him with zero runs of support. This game will be remembered mostly for a nasty eighth-inning fight between Bryce Harper and Hunter Strickland. Moore will face the Phillies on the road next. He's 2-6 with a 4.98 ERA.
