Kurt Suzuki went 3-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Saturday's loss to the Reds.

On Saturday, he hit a two-run dong in the seventh inning off Reds reliever Asher Wojciechowski. He's still only playing a couple days a week behind Flowers, but Suzuki is making the most of it, batting .269/.346/.527 in 186 at-bats on the year.

Jose Abreu went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a triple and three runs scored in Saturday's loss to the Rangers.

Abreu did everything in his power to keep the White Sox in this one, but he was only able to do so much given that his team surrendered 17 runs. As consistent a hitter as there is in the game, Abreu is slashing a sturdy .301/.351/.534 with 24 homers and 75 RBI across 119 games played. The first baseman has homered in three of his last four games and picked up multiple hits in six of his last seven games.

Martin Perez surrendered six runs on seven hits over six innings in Saturday's win over the White Sox.

Up next on the docket for Perez as he tries for slightly smoother results, a road start against the Angels. He will carry a 5.26 ERA and 1.57 WHIP into that affair.
