James Johnson nearly triple-doubled in Saturday's 113-95 win over the Pacers with 15 points, seven rebounds and eight assists in 29 minutes.

What a way to bounce back after scoring just two points on Friday. Johnson also stuffed the stat sheet with two blocks, two steals and two triples, shooting 6-of-14 from the field and 1-of-3 from the line with five turnovers. He's arguably the waiver wire pickup of the year and could have more minutes coming his way if backup center Willie Reed misses time with his right calf strain -- Heat coach Erik Spoelstra isn't afraid to use JJ as a small-ball five.

Justin Holiday scored 14 points with seven rebounds, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

Revenge game for trading away his brother? Bad jokes aside, Justin did benefit tonight with Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) out to bump Carmelo Anthony over to the four more often and open up wing minutes. Porzingis isn't expected to be out long, so there's little incentive to add Holiday until further notice.

Derrick Rose scored 18 points with five rebounds, three assists and one turnover in 36 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

He did go to the locker room during this game, but it did not look like it was due to an injury. Rose was also gone from the locker room when the media was allowed to enter. He also said he had to leave a media scrum to catch a flight to Chicago. Never a dull moment, apparently.

Dario Saric grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds during a 110-109 loss to the Knicks on Saturday, adding 19 points, five assists and one 3-pointer in a career-high 40 minutes.

That's four consecutive double-doubles and the seventh straight game with at least 18 points. Saric doesn't have a backup and the 76ers continue to run offense through him. Amazingly, he's still be efficient lately despite making just 5-of-29 (17.2 percent) from deep in his last five games to get him to 47.7 percent from the field overall. The Homie Dario looks like a league-winning type of asset going forward.
Feb 25 - 10:39 PM

Jahlil Okafor scored a season-high 28 points against the Knicks on Saturday with 10 rebounds, one assist and no turnovers in 29 minutes.

He made 11-of-19 from the field and all six from the line for a terrific scoring line. Okafor was coming off a rough game on Friday against the Wizards, but he's struggled against Marcin Gortat for basically his whole career. With Joel Embiid (knee) still in street clothes and possibly missing more than two games, maybe Okafor get start to get it going. While this might be his best game all year, he's still worth owning to see if he can keep it going.

Willie Reed - F/C - Heat

Willie Reed has been diagnosed with a right calf strain.

He will not return to Saturday's game vs. the Pacers and will be re-evaluated on Sunday morning. He finished the game with four points, one rebound and one steal in 10 minutes. This diagnosis is good news, but he's not out of the woods yet and we'll know more about his status when the Heat run some tests on him Sunday. If he misses time, Hassan Whiteside will have a higher floor and James Johnson could play more minutes as the backup center.
Feb 25 - 10:31 PM

Robert Covington made 7-of-19 from the field for 20 points with 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks, three steals and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes against the Knicks on Saturday.

For the second night in a row, Covington picked up 100 percent of the backup power forward minutes to go with his starters minutes at the three. Following this game and a 25-point, 11-board gem on Friday, it's clear the Dario Saric isn't the only one benefiting from the Ersan Ilyasova and Nerlens Noel deals. While he didn't have his shot working today, RoCo is as hot as anyone as a stat-stuffer right now.
Feb 25 - 10:28 PM

Richaun Holmes scored eight points with two rebounds, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 16 minutes against the Knicks on Saturday.

Jahlil Okafor avoided foul trouble and played much, much better in this game, so the opportunity wasn't there for Holmes tonight like it was for his double-double, five-block game on Friday. He should still be closer to 20 minutes most nights and could have value based on how he can block and add a variety of stats. He is worth a look in deeper leagues.
