U.S. District Judge Richard Berman nullified Tom Brady's four-game suspension.

Cardinals ILB Sean Weatherspoon is expected to play in the fourth preseason game.

It will be Weatherspoon's debut with the Cardinals and first game action since Week 15 of 2013. A standout when healthy, Arizona needs Weatherspoon to be a rock in their otherwise underwhelming linebacking corps. Weatherspoon has played all 16 games just once in his five-year career.

Redskins rookie WR Jamison Crowder will not face league discipline for a June domestic violence accusation.

Crowder was accused of domestic violence through his Instagram account on June 4. He was never formally accused of any crime, and the league's investigation has apparently found nothing to suggest Crowder violated the personal conduct policy. Crowder will open the season as a special teams contributor.

The Eagles want to get RB Darren Sproles more involved in the offense.

"We'd like to get him the ball steadily and consistently, and he certainly is a unique, outstanding player," Eagles OC Pat Shurmur said before the preseason. "We just need to make sure we get him the ball, and we have a plan to do that." That plan could involve Sproles lining up more as a receiver, something the Eagles worked on in camp. Sproles averaged just six offensive touches a game over the second half of 2014. Even if he sees a slight bump in usage, he is unlikely to be a consistent fantasy option in standard formats.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said it "sounds like" the Titans will retain LG Andy Levitre.

Set to count $8.6 million against this year's cap, Levitre looked like a sure-fire cut after he lost his starting job to Byron Bell. The Titans do not have much veteran depth on their interior line, however, and they have the cap room to carry Levitre for another season. Tennessee could save $2.3 million against the cap by cutting Levitre.

CSN New England's Tom E. Curran said James White could be the "odd man out" in the Patriots' third-down running back battle.

White was drafted as the heir apparent to Shane Vereen last season, but he has struggled to make an impact in both of his NFL preseasons. Travaris Cadet shined in the offseason program, but he has missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury. Brandon Bolden is the most tenured and versatile of the four competing, and Dion Lewis has been the most impressive this preseason. At least one of those four will not make the team, and there is a chance it is White.

The Charlotte Observer believes WR Corey Brown could be on the roster bubble.

Brown was expected to open the season in the starting lineup following the season-ending injury to Kelvin Benjamin (ACL), but he has struggled mightily with drops both in game and in practice over the last several weeks. Brown has at least five drops in the last two preseason games, including two would-be touchdowns. If he cannot show the drops are behind him in the final preseason game, he could find himself off the final roster.

The Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett said TEs Joseph Fauria and Tim Wright are competing for "probably only one spot."

Wright would seem to have the edge as the Lions traded for him just three days ago, but all Wright cost was a kicker who was unlikely to make the final roster anyway. Wright has floundered in both New England and Tampa Bay following a breakout rookie campaign, and Fauria offers the Lions a red-zone threat they are missing at the back end of their receiver corps. This competition could go down the wire, and both tight ends may end up on the final roster.
