Tommy Hanson - S - Angels

Tommy Hanson, who has been away from the team since early May due to a death in the family, is scheduled to throw 75 pitches in an extended spring training game on Saturday.

The assumption is that he'd make at least one more start there before rejoining the Angels' rotation, which would put his return on June 4 at the earliest. He'll return to a 2-1 record, 3.86 ERA and 17/9 K/BB ratio through his first 28 innings as an Angel.

Hanley Ramirez - SS - Dodgers

Hanley Ramirez said Friday that he feels he's ready to return to the Dodgers' lineup with his hamstring as is.

Ramirez said that he's been trying to come back, but that the Dodgers won't let him yet. He progressed to running in the outfield prior to Tuesday's game, and the team wants to take every precaution not to rush him back and risk re-injury. He was initially given a 4-6 week timetable for his return, and even the early end of that projection doesn't have him returning until early June.

Peter Bourjos - OF - Angels

Peter Bourjos (hamstring) has begun to progress in his recovery from a strained left hamstring, as he's been hitting early batting practice and has begun light jogging.

Bourjos is increasing the pace of his workouts daily. He's likely to need a few minor league rehab games before returning to the Angels' lineup, but it looks likely that he'll return in early June. Hamstring injuries can tend to linger and pose a high re-injury risk however, so play it cautiously when re-inserting the speedy outfielder into your fantasy lineups.

Nathan Eovaldi - S - Marlins

Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) will make his first minor league rehab start with High-A Jupiter on Saturday.

Eovaldi will be limited to between 60 and 70 pitches in the game. He's been sidelined since the end of spring training with inflammation in his right shoulder. He'll need a few rehab starts to get fully stretched out, but could join the Marlins rotation in early June if all goes well.

Michael Cuddyer - OF - Rockies

Rockies activated OF Michael Cuddyer from the 15-day disabled list.

Cuddyer is in the starting lineup, playing right field and hitting fifth. Cuddyer had been sidelined since May 9 with an inflamed cervical disc. After playing in two extended spring training games on Tuesday and Wednesday however, Cuddyer has been deemed ready to return and rejoins the Rockies' the first day he's eligible to do so.

Carlos Quentin - OF - Padres

Carlos Quentin (knee) is back in Friday's lineup against the Diamondbacks.

Quentin hurt his left knee in an awkward slide on Monday and received a cortisone shot on Tuesday. The 30-year-old is hitting just .178 with four homers and a .674 OPS in 30 games this season.

Anthony Rendon - 3B - Nationals

Nationals prospect infielder Anthony Rendon is out of the lineup for Double-A Harrisburg after having his wisdom teeth removed.

He should be good to go in the next day or two. Rendon is hitting .359 (23-for-64) with four homers and a 1.201 OPS since his demotion earlier this month and could be an option with the big club again if Danny Espinosa's wrist injury lingers.

Billy Buckner - S - Angels

Billy Buckner will start Saturday against the Royals.

Buckner hasn't made an appearance since being called up from Triple-A Salt Lake last week, so he's well rested for the assignment. The 29-year-old has a 6.25 ERA in 21 starts and 15 relief appearances in the majors and can be avoided for fantasy purposes.
