Eagles released LB Emmanuel Acho.

Acho was released during the Eagles' final cuts last year as well, though he rejoined the team in October. A 2012 sixth-rounder, Acho has two tackles in six career games.

Eagles LB Travis Long tore the ACL in his left knee during the team's preseason finale Thursday night.

After spending last season on the Eagles' practice squad, Long was penciled in for a 53-man roster spot this season. He will likely be stashed on injured reserve. Long tore the ACL in his right knee his senior year at Washington State.

Seahawks waived QB Terrelle Pryor.

Pryor loses out to Tarvaris Jackson for the backup job in Seattle. Despite his limitations as a passer, Pryor's unique physical traits should ensure he is not on the street for long. Pryor completed 21-of-39 passes for 281 yards (7.2 YPA), a touchdown and two interceptions this preseason. He added 97 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Bishop Sankey "ran the ball very well" in the Titans final preseason game Thursday night.

Sankey ran for 43 yards on seven carries against the Vikings. "We’ve seen growth with Bishop," said Whisenhunt. "His vision is good. He’s seeing the holes well. His protection, he’s done a nicer job with that as he’s gone through it." Sankey should start climbing the depth chart sooner rather than later, but his upside is limited by the Titans' apparent preference to use a committee approach at running back. He is overvalued in the fifth round.

Raiders waived/released DE Jack Crawford.

A three-year starter at Penn State, Crawford was a fifth-round pick of the Raiders in 2012. Crawford had zero sacks in 19 career games with Oakland. Following Crawford's release, only two of Oakland's six picks from the 2012 draft are still on the team.

NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks reports rookie K Cody Parkey has made the Eagles' 53-man roster.

Alex Henery is now likely to be cut. Parkey was acquired from the Colts on August 20, and went 3-for-3 with two 50-plus yard field goals in the Eagles' final preseason game Thursday night. Parkey should be a solid streaming option in the Eagles' high-powered offense.

CBSSports' Jason La Canfora reports the Bills are shopping G Kraig Urbik.

Despite his solid 2013 campaign, Urbik lost his right guard job to former tackle Erik Pears during camp. Urbik is set to count $3.45 million against the Bills cap, but Buffalo could save $2.9 million of that by releasing or trading him. Urbik would find plenty of suitors on the open market if cut.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen is waiting for an update on Matt Schaub's elbow injury before naming his Week 1 quarterback.

Schaub's extremely minor elbow issue appears to have given Allen the opening he needed to name second-rounder Derek Carr starter, but the Raiders will go through a few formalities first. Carr lit up the Seahawks' 2s and 3s and Thursday, and has run circles around Schaub all preseason. We expect him to get the call against the Jets next weekend. Schaub will be away from the team this weekend as he deals with a "personal issue."
