Adrian Beltre went 2-for-4 with a go-ahead homer off Cody Allen in the top of the ninth as the Rangers edged the Indians 2-1 on Tuesday.

Beltre has homered in three straight games after totaling two homers in his first 21 games back from the disabled list. Those who held on to him for the duration of his injuries have been well rewarded thus far.

Tyson Ross held the Indians to one run and two hits in six innings in a no-decision Tuesday.

Ross's middle start was ugly, but he's been effective in two of his other three outings for the Rangers. Unfortunately, the Jays hit him so hard that his ERA stands at 6.14. We don't recommend him outside of AL-only leagues right now.
Jun 27 - 10:24 PM

Matt Bush protected a one-run lead for his 10th save Tuesday against the Indians.

With his job very much on the line, Bush has come out and protected one-run leads against the Yankees and now Cleveland the last three days. He faced the heart of the order in this one, too, giving up only a single to Michael Brantley while retiring Francisco Lindor, Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Ramirez. Things are looking up for his owners.
Jun 27 - 10:23 PM

Mike Clevinger fanned nine while allowing one run in six innings Tuesday against the Rangers.

It's too soon to project Danny Salazar's return, but Clevinger seems like he's going to have a good case to stick in the rotation once Salazar does make it back, whether it's over Josh Tomlin or Trevor Bauer. He has a 3.56 ERA in nine starts and one relief appearance.
Jun 27 - 10:19 PM

Cody Allen took his fourth loss after giving up a solo homer to the Rangers' Adrian Beltre in the ninth inning Tuesday.

Allen could have been in line for the save tonight had the Indians scored more than one run, but as it was, he was brought into a 1-1 tie in the ninth and took his second loss in four days. He's still pitching pretty well, having amassed a 2.40 ERA to date, but it's unclear when he'll resume getting saves.
Jun 27 - 10:17 PM

Mark Trumbo went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI on Tuesday, leading the Orioles to a 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Trumbo smashed a two-run double off of Joe Biagini in the first inning, providing all of the support that Kevin Gausman and company would need in this one. The hard-hitting outfielder is now slashing .262/.322/.407 with 10 long balls and 37 RBI on the year.
Jun 27 - 10:15 PM

Rougned Odor went 0-for-3 on Tuesday and is in a 3-for-37 slump with no RBI and 11 strikeouts in his last nine games.

Odor finally seemed to have righted the ship earlier this month, hitting .313/.340/.750 with five homers in a 12-game span. Now he's basically right back where he started. If he doesn't play better over the rest of the week, the Rangers should consider sending him down for a Triple-A refresher through the All-Star break. It worked for Mike Zunino.
Jun 27 - 10:15 PM

Adam Jones went 1-for-3 with an RBI single on Tuesday as the Orioles beat the Blue Jays.

Jones came through with his run-scoring knock in the third inning, running the O's advantage to 3-0. The veteran outfielder also drew a walk in the contest and is now hitting .271/.309/.440 with 13 homers and 35 RBI on the season.
