Collin McHugh allowed four runs over seven innings but earned the win against the Orioles on Tuesday.

McHugh gave up six hits, walked two and struck out six in the win. Wins have been tough to come by for the right-hander in recent weeks, as Tuesday's was just his second since May 7. McHugh is 6-2 with a 4.33 ERA and 1.23 WHIP on the season. He'll try to make it two in a row Sunday at the Blue Jays.

Lance Lynn threw 7 2/3 scoreless innings and the Cardinals shut out the Brewers 1-0 on Tuesday.

Lynn scattered five hits and a walk in the effort. The win was his first in three starts, pulling his record to an even 4-4 overall. The right-hander has a 3.03 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 72/22 K/BB ratio over 78 1/3 innings of work this year. Lynn will take on the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Jonathan Lucroy had two hits in the Brewers' loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

The Brewers managed just seven hits in the shutout, but the veteran backstop recorded his first multi-hit game since returning from a fractured left big toe. Lucroy may be given a day off Wednesday after catching both of his first two games off the disabled list, but he appears to be healthy and should return to being a productive catcher moving forward.

Salvador Perez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Indians after taking a foul tip off his mask.

The Royals are calling his exit precautionary, but you never know when you're dealing with a potential concussion. Perez will be re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Mark Reynolds had the only RBI in the Cardinals' win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

It was the second straight low-scoring affair between the two teams, with Reynolds' RBI single in the second inning plating the lone run in the game. Reynolds finished 1-for-3 in the contest. The veteran was performing well in a part-time role before Matt Adams' injury, and he's moved into an everyday gig with Adams sidelined. Reynolds is hitting .261/.325/.391 on the year.

Randal Grichuk went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Brewers.

Grichuk doubled and scored in the bottom of the second inning, the only run either team scored in the game. The outfielder is batting .299/.329/.567 with nine RBI and seven runs scored through 23 games, and he's forced his way into a platoon role in right field with his recent hitting.

An MRI revealed that Samuel Deduno does not need surgery on his ailing right hip.

There's no timetable for his return, but he'll begin a rehab program soon. The swingman holds a 6.86 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 17/9 K/BB ratio over 21 innings this season.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman revealed Tuesday that Jacoby Ellsbury (knee) is tentatively 3-4 weeks away from a return.

Ellsbury has already been on the shelf for two weeks and evidently hasn't made much progress with his right knee sprain. The outfielder has yet to resume baseball activities and it's not known when he might be cleared to do so. Chris Young has been the biggest beneficiary of extra at-bats while Ellsbury has been sidelined.
