Chiefs signed QB Tyler Bray to a two-year, $1.925 million extension.

Bray is currently on the NFI list after tearing his left ACL play basketball in the offseason. As part of the deal, the Chiefs agreed to pay his full $510,000 salary while he is on the NFI list.

The Steelers came away from Wednesday's visit with Phil Taylor "not interested" in signing the free agent nose tackle.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Taylor's knee "needs (to be) fixed" and would take "too long to heal" for the Steelers to wait out Taylor's recovery. Taylor had his knee scoped in the offseason, but there were rumors he might need a microfracture procedure. At very least, he needs another surgery.

WKBW Buffalo's Joe Buscaglia believes sixth-round TE Nick O'Leary "would likely have been released by now" if he wasn't a draft pick.

Per Buscaglia, O'Leary "could be confused with any of the undrafted free agents on the roster" at Bills camp. He's currently behind Charles Clay, MarQuies Gray, Matthew Mulligan, and Chris Gragg on the depth chart. Small, short armed, and slow, O'Leary might not even make it onto Buffalo's practice squad.

Titans NT Sammie Lee Hill is undergoing MCL surgery and will miss at least the first three games of the season.

The Titans hope their starting nose tackle will return following their Week 4 bye. Hill was an ineffective run stuffer a year ago, but his loss hurts Tennessee's depth and will force utilityman Al Woods into a full-time role. The Titans' run defense will likely be among the league's worst again in 2015.

Cowboys VP Stephen Jones called running back "a position of interest" for Dallas once NFL teams turn in their final cuts.

Joseph Randle's grip on Dallas' lead-back job appears to be fading, while the Cowboys should be fully aware of Darren McFadden's lengthy injury history. No. 3 back Lance Dunbar has spent three years in the NFL and never totaled more than 30 rushing attempts. The Cowboys missed out on running backs in the draft and could turn to the NFL waiver wire for increased depth.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chuck Pagano is entering a "make-or-break year" as the Colts' head coach.

There have been whispers of a schism between GM Ryan Grigson and Pagano, which were initially relayed by CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora and the Indy Star's Bob Kravitz. FOX Sports' Mike Garofolo reported that one of the reasons for tension is Grigson's belief that Donte Moncrief should have played over a clearly-washed-up Reggie Wayne last season. Pagano has been tight with Wayne since they were both at the University of Miami (FL). Pagano has reportedly rejected a "couple of one-year extension" offers from the Colts. Pagano also attempted to emphasize a "run-first" approach with Trent Richardson in 2013, even when Andrew Luck was the Colts' best means of moving the ball. If Pagano doesn't earn a new contract this year, Grigson could conceivably turn to the college ranks for a more innovative coach, or promote impressive third-year OC Pep Hamilton.

The Indianapolis Star tabbed rookie Henry Anderson as a player who could help contribute on the Colts defensive line after losing DT Arthur Jones to an ankle injury.

The Colts D/ST will be looking for numerous players to step up in Jones' absence, and this blow certainly hurts the chances of the Indianapolis D/ST being fantasy-relevant. The weakened Colts defensive line will be tested out of the gates as they travel to Buffalo to take on Rex Ryan's run-focused offense in Week 1.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune expects Delvin Breaux to start alongside Brandon Browner at cornerback with Keenan Lewis out 4-6 weeks.

The news of hip surgery for Lewis hurts the New Orleans D/ST unit that was 25th in the NFL against the pass last season, allowing 251.2 yards through the air each week. Carson Palmer and the Arizona Cardinals passing game should be able to move the ball with relative ease against New Orleans in Week 1, making the Saints D/ST a group to avoid when the regular season begins.
