Giants RE Olivier Vernon (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7.

Vernon suffered what is likely a high ankle sprain in Week 4 and hasn't been able to play since. His absence is a big reason for the Giants' defensive downturn.

Bills LT Cordy Glenn (ankle) has been removed from the injury report.

Glenn has been dealing with ankle/foot issues dating back to last season. He was active the week before Buffalo's bye, but didn't start. There's speculation Glenn may not be returning to a starting role — a highly questionable move given his salary and track record. Glenn and Dion Dawkins are easily Buffalo's best tackles.

Colts RB Robert Turbin will receive a second opinion on his injured arm on Monday.

He was initially ruled out for the season after twisting his arm the wrong way in Monday night's loss to Tennessee, though the Colts will wait at least until Monday to place him on I.R. Turbin's absence will open up more carries for fourth-round rookie Marlon Mack.

Jordan Matthews (thumb) is questionable for Week 7 against the Bucs.

Matthews got in a full practice Friday, putting him on track to play after Buffalo's Week 7 bye. With Charles Clay out, Matthews has a heavy target share, but he doesn't have much upside in an offense that goes through LeSean McCoy. Matthews is on the WR3 map against a Bucs secondary that's allowed second-most pass yards in the league.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said SS Clayton Geathers (neck, PUP) will resume practicing next week.

Geathers has been on the shelf since suffering a neck injury last December. Pagano said he'll be limited to non-contact work initially. The Colts will have three weeks to activate Geathers from the PUP list once he resumes practicing.

Sam Bradford (knee) is out for Week 7 against the Ravens.

It's no surprise as Bradford has yet to resume practicing since aggravating his bruised knee against the Bears in Week 5. Case Keenum will draw another start for the Vikes, though it may not be long before Teddy Bridgewater (knee) gets a chance under center after returning to practice earlier this week.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said the team needs to "scheme better" to get T.Y. Hilton more involved.

This is likely in response to Hilton's one-catch, 19-yard performance on four targets Monday at Tennessee. Hilton's results have been all over the map this year, ranging from 19 yards in Week 6 to 177 against the Niners in Week 5. That sort of volatility is to be expected with Jacoby Brissett under center, but the fact remains that Hilton is on pace for only 107 targets, which is 49 fewer than he saw last season. Hilton could get the squeaky wheel treatment on Sunday, but will be difficult to trust in a tough matchup with Jacksonville.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he "likes the chances" of DT Brandon Williams (foot) returning Sunday.

Williams practiced fully after missing the last month. He'll provide a needed boost for a run defense that's been getting shredded. The return of Williams is a downgrade for Jerick McKinnon and Latavius Murray.
