ESPN Saints reporter Mike Triplett to "return to some form of timeshare" when Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas return from their injuries.

Robinson and Thomas have missed each of New Orleans' last two games, creating a perfect storm for Mark Ingram. Coach Sean Payton was asked following Thursday night's win over Carolina whether Ingram has earned a larger share. "Listen, he certainly is," said Payton. "Yet the key is just the durability. But he's been outstanding. I think that Sunday and then what he did last night, those are a lot of touches. And so we're gonna have to, as we get guys healthy, break those up. And yet to his credit, he's handled that workload."

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports the Bucs are expected to activate rookie Charles Sims from the injured reserve-designated for return list by 4pm ET on Saturday.

The Bucs' third-round pick is expected to be active for Sunday's game against the Browns, but his role remains unclear. The Tampa coaching staff likely hasn't even decided fully yet. Expect Bobby Rainey to get the start, and Sims to be eased in. That would be the conservative projection, of course. There is an outside chance Sims could become a useful flex play by as early as Week 10 against Atlanta. He should be rostered in leagues of all sizes.

Kenbrell Thompkins (personal) returned to practice Friday and is listed as probable for Week 9 at Seattle.

Thompkins has emerged as Oakland's No. 3 receiver behind Andre Holmes and James Jones. He will likely run a lot of routes at Richard Sherman on Sunday.

Raiders CB Carlos Rogers (knee) is listed as doubtful for Week 9.

Rogers covers the slot in nickel. It's an upgrade to Doug Baldwin's matchup.

Alfred Blue (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 9.

He's ready to go as Arian Foster's caddie against the Eagles.

Arian Foster (knee) is listed as probable for Week 9.

He'll be all systems go against the Eagles' solid run defense.
Oct 31 - 3:54 PM

Andre Johnson (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 9.

Johnson is a legitimate WR1 against the Eagles' inconsistent secondary.

The Giants will not activate LG Geoff Schwartz from injured reserve-designated for return before Monday night's game against the Colts.

Schwartz was eligible to return from his toe dislocation this week, but isn't ready. Schwartz is the Giants' best blocker when healthy. His return should give the offensive line a lift down the stretch, but it's still unclear when that will happen. Rookie Weston Richburg has struggled in Schwartz's absence despite oddly making some irrelevant midseason All-Pro teams.
