Orioles manager Buck Showalter confirmed Saturday that Kevin Gausman will remain in the team's starting rotation.

He'll take his next turn on Tuesday against the Twins in Minnesota. The 24-year-old right-hander owns a 3.09 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 21/8 K/BB ratio in 23 1/3 innings this season. Bud Norris has been shifted to the bullpen in a corresponding move.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter officially announced Saturday that Bud Norris has been moved to the bullpen.

Kevin Gausman will remain in the Orioles rotation, and will make his next start on Tuesday against the Twins in Minneapolis. Norris has no one but himself to blame for the move, as he has registered a 6.79 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 39/19 K/BB ratio in 55 2/3 innings.

Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk, and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Giants.

Using a special Fourth of July-themed bat, Harper took Madison Bumgarner deep in the first inning. Bumgarner hadn't given up a home run to a left-handed batter in 47 starts. Harper is now up to 25 home runs, which ties him with Cincinnati's Todd Frazier for second in the National League. He owns a ridiculous .344/.470/.719 batting line on the year.

Tanner Roark allowed two runs over 4 1/3 innings of relief Saturday against the Giants.

Roark entered the game in the fourth inning after Stephen Strasburg left with an apparent side injury. He pitched well under the circumstances, allowing four hits while walking none and striking out three. The Nationals stretched him out to 61 pitches, so he's an obvious alternative for the rotation if Strasburg needs a stint on the DL. It's also possible that Joe Ross could be called back up from the minors. It's nice to have quality options.
Jul 4 - 2:38 PM

Madison Bumgarner was tagged for a season-high six runs over five-plus innings Saturday in a loss to the Braves.

Bumgarner was charged with the final two runs after he was replaced by Yusmeiro Petit in the sixth. The southpaw gave up eight hits (including two home runs in the first inning) while walking one and striking out four. His ERA jumped from 2.99 to 3.34 in the loss. He'll have a good chance to bounce back next week against the Phillies.

Tyler Moore was 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI against the Giants on Saturday.

Moore doubled home a run in the fourth inning before hitting a two-run double in the sixth. He then added an RBI single in the seventh. It was his first three-hit game of the season. The 28-year-old is batting .227/.277/.400 in part-time duty this year.

Michael Taylor clubbed a leadoff homer Saturday against the Giants.

Taylor made the start in center field Saturday while Denard Span got the day off. The 24-year-old is hitting just .246 with a .295 on-base percentage, but he has been relevant in deeper mixed fantasy leagues because of his power-speed combo.
Jul 4 - 2:36 PM

Brandon Belt went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and a walk Saturday against the Nationals.

Belt has now driven in runs in six out of his last seven games. He's batting .273/.344/.481 with nine home runs and 36 RBI through 74 games this season.
