Ted Ginn caught 2-of-6 targets for 18 yards Friday night against the Patriots.

Ginn did not look great Friday night and dropped two passes in the two-minute drill, but he did make something out of nothing on a screen pass and was inches away from connecting on a long pass in the first half. He also continues to play in two-wide sets over Devin Funchess, and actually saw the most snaps with the first-team offense. Ginn will be even more boom-or-bust this season, but he should return value, especially in best-ball leagues.

Aaron Rodgers completed 6-of-9 passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in his first preseason action Friday night against the 49ers.

DeSean Jackson caught 4-of-5 targets for 56 yards in the Redskins' third preseason game Friday night.

During the telecast, Redskins announcer Joe Theismann noted D-Jax has put on seven pounds of muscle and is having an "outstanding camp." This is a contract year for Jackson, who will hope to parlay it into a big deal next offseason, with Washington or someone else. Healthy all August, Jackson is one of the top value picks in fantasy this year. He usually lasts until round six.

Corey Coleman caught 0-of-2 targets in the Browns' third preseason game.

Coleman had a tunnel-screen catch-and-run called back on a penalty by fellow wideout Terrelle Pryor. The two were later seen having words. It was Coleman's first action of the preseason after missing the first two games with a hamstring strain. The silver lining is Coleman lined up opposite Pryor in two-wide sets and continued to play on the outside in three-wide. It's uncertain if he'll play in the preseason finale, but Coleman enters Week 1 as a boom-or-bust WR3.

Vincent Jackson caught 4-of-9 targets for 78 yards in the Bucs' third preseason game.

Jackson was Jameis Winston's favorite target early in this one, and led the team with his nine looks. V-Jax's 2015 season was derailed by a lingering knee injury. He's another year older at 33, but if Jackson can stay healthy, he's in a great role as the clear No. 2 option in what looks like an offense ready to take the next step while playing more up-tempo. Jackson is a sneaky WR3.

Reggie Bush started the Bills' third preseason game and rushed three times for 17 yards, also missing his lone target.

Bush was the starter because Shady McCoy was resting and Mike Gillislee is out with a concussion. The Bills used Bush in the Shady role, however, giving him first-team carries on early downs, and subbing in rookie Jonathan Williams in some passing situations. Some beat writers believe Bush is the fantasy handcuff for McCoy. Bush is unlikely to carve out any standalone value.

Kelvin Benjamin hauled in 3-of-6 targets for 27 yards Friday night.

With Cam Newton struggling with his accuracy, Benjamin did well to catch half of his targets. Newton badly overthrew Benjamin twice, and he climbed the ladder to haul in two other off-target throws. Even with Funchess reportedly pushing him, Benjamin started and played ahead of the sophomore in two-wide sets. Even so, the depth-chart uncertainty makes him more of a WR3.

Charles Sims rushed four times for 13 yards and caught 3-of-3 targets for 16 yards and one touchdown in the Bucs' third preseason game.

Doug Martin played just a handful of snaps before exiting, and Sims was the next man up to get carries with the first-team offense. As Bucs beat writers have noted, Sims is running lower to the ground this year in an effort to become a more complete back. He's still more noted for his pass-game work, but Sims would be the man to own in a possible three-down role should Martin ever get hurt. Sims' touchdown grab Friday night came on a rollout by Jameis Winston, who bought time before finding Sims from three yards out.
