Braves designated RHP Josh Ravin for assignment.

The 30-year-old struggled in to appearances with the big league club, posting a 6.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP. He's likely to pass through waivers unclaimed and should continue to function as organizational bullpen depth.

Tommy Pham was held out of the Cardinals' lineup on Saturday due to lingering groin tightness

The initial hope had been that the Cardinals were simply easing him back into action, but it looks now as he's still battling his groin issue. At the moment, it doesn't look like he'll require a trip to the disabled list, though be sure to monitor the situation to be sure.
Apr 21 - 2:07 PM

Zach Granite landed on the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester due to a right shoulder contusion.

Granite was expected to make the Twins' Opening Day roster in a reserve role, but struggled so badly at the dish that it was determined he needed more time at Triple-A. Now missing time with injury, it could be awhile before he arrives in Minnesota.
