Jamaal Charles (knee) is out for Week 3 against the Jets.

He was listed as doubtful on Friday despite seeing some practice reps with the first-team offense this week. Coach Andy Reid suggested he could play in Week 4 against Pittsburgh. Spencer Ware will carry the rushing load again on Sunday. For the season, he's out-touched Charcandrick West 30-16.

Vikings DT Sharrif Floyd (knee scope) is expected to miss 5-6 weeks.

The absence is lengthy enough that Floyd might become a candidate for I.R., and eventually I.R.-return. The Vikings will continue to use more of Shamar Stephen in Floyd's absence. Stephen has been terrific against the run.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins are "treating Kenyan Drake as the starter today" in the absence of Arian Foster (groin).

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Brandon Marshall (knee/foot) is expected to play at Kansas City, but he will be on a snap count.

Schefter also tweeted something about the weather in Kansas City being "bad," although Weather.com has Arrowhead expected to experience a 0-15 percent chance of rain with mild winds (8-10 MPH) and temperatures in the 70s during Sunday's game. We're not concerned about the weather at all. The snap-count concern should downgrade Marshall from a WR1 to a WR2/3, but snap counts do have a tendency to be thrown to the wind if a player starts hot.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Alshon Jeffery (knee) is expected to play Sunday night at Dallas.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Sammy Watkins (foot) will not play Sunday against the Cardinals.

Carolina will host the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3, who are last among NFL offenses in rushing yards through two weeks.

The Vikings have racked up just 95 total yards on the ground through two weeks and now will face Carolina without Adrian Peterson (knee). Carolina held San Francisco to 65 rushing yards in Week 2 and will be a tough test for Minnesota's committee of running backs. The Panthers D/ST is a solid fantasy option at home this week.

ESPN New York expects Brandon Marshall (questionable, knee/foot) to play Sunday.

Marshall only got in one limited practice, but the missed reps aren't a huge concern to his Week 3 status. Marshall clearly isn't fully healthy despite playing through his knee injury last week and remains a game-time decision. He's trending toward being active.
