Harry Douglas (foot) is questionable for Week 8 against the Lions.

Douglas has been out since Week 3. He'll be a game-time decision Sunday. If Douglas can't play, Devin Hester will once again handle No. 3 receiver duties.

Julio Jones (ankle) is probable for Week 8 against the Lions.

Jones has been on the injury report the past couple weeks, but it's not an issue. He's our No. 5 receiver for Week 8 despite Atlanta's offensive struggles.
Oct 24 - 10:58 AM

Brandon Pettigrew (foot) is doubtful for Week 8 against the Falcons.

It'll be Jordan Thompson and Kellen Davis at tight end for the Lions with Pettigrew, Eric Ebron (hamstring), and Joseph Fauria (ankle) all hurt.
Oct 24 - 10:46 AM

Eric Ebron (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8 against the Falcons.

Ebron remains week-to-week after hurting his hamstring in practice last week. Joseph Fauria (ankle) has also been ruled out. Brandon Pettigrew (foot) is doubtful.
Oct 24 - 10:44 AM

Calvin Johnson (ankle) is questionable for Week 8 against the Falcons.

Megatron will "truly be a game-time decision," according to Tim Twentyman of the Lions' team website. Johnson got in three limited practices this week and began cutting and running routes on the sprained ankle. At least we'll know Johnson's status early, as the Lions and Falcons kick off at 9:30 AM ET Sunday.
Oct 24 - 10:39 AM

Reggie Bush (ankle) is doubtful for Week 8 against the Falcons.

We can't trust anything Bush says. He declared himself 100 percent ready for Week 7, and Bush was barely used in the second half. This week, he said he's going to play against Atlanta in London. That appears unlikely. It'll be Joique Bell and Theo Riddick in the backfield for Detroit. Bell is our No. 17 running back.

Justin Hunter says he and Zach Mettenberger had a "good rhythm going" during training camp and preseason.

"I'm really interested to see how it will all turn out in a real game," Hunter continued. Of the Titans' regular receivers, sophomore Hunter spent the most time with Mettenberger's group over summer. The two showed great chemistry in the preseason when Hunter caught ten passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Mettenberger has a rocket arm unlike Checkdown Charlie Whithurst, and TE Delanie Walker says the deep ball will be a "focus" of the offense Week 8 against the Texans. Hunter knows how to run the "go" route.

Tre Mason - RB - Rams

Rams OC Brian Schottenheimer said all of his running backs will "have roles for us," and he'll continue to treat it as a week-to-week situation.

"I think that’s kind of good for us," Schottenheimer said. "For a defense not to know who they’ve got to prepare for. To know that at any moment it might be a different guy out there." Schottenheimer isn't fooling anyone. Anybody with working eyeballs can see Tre Mason is the Rams' most talented runner. If the Rams want to put the ball in Zac Stacy or Benny Cunningham's hands, they're playing to the defense's advantage. We're not -- and more importantly, defensive coordinators aren't -- buying Schottenheimer's mind trick. Mason's the guy.
