Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert will both have MRIs Monday.

The Panthers aren't revealing any information yet, but both looked like knee issues on Sunday night. Neither injury appeared overly serious, but the MRI could very well find sprains. DeAngelo Williams (thigh) would get a boost in Week 4 if both Stewart and Tolbert sit.

Lions MLB Stephen Tulloch tore his left ACL during Sunday's win over the Packers.

Tulloch suffered the injury in humiliating, Bill Gramatica fashion: Celebrating a sack with an attempt at a discount double-check. The sturdy veteran had previously never missed a game in his nine-year career. "It's unfortunate, man, you're passionate about the game," Tulloch said. "You want to get up and celebrate and it happened." The Lions compensated Sunday by moving DeAndre Levy to the middle and inserting Tahir Whitehead at weak-side linebacker.

49ers CB Tramaine Brock (toe) is not expected back for Week 4 against the Eagles.

Brock's absence is good news Nick Foles and the entire Eagles offense. It shapes up as an especially good matchup for Jordan Matthews, who will get to pick on undersized slot corner Jimmie Ward.
Sep 22 - 12:21 PM

Ladarius Green played on 23-of-69 snaps (33.3 percent) in Sunday's win at Buffalo.

Green did set season-highs with four catches and 64 yards on six targets. He also encouragingly saw two red-zone targets. However, his snap count was essentially the same as it was in the first two weeks while Antonio Gates was up at 65.2 percent of the snaps again. Green will be a boom or bust fantasy play in Week 4 against a Jaguars team that is as bad as the Cardinals at defending the tight end. His lack of snaps and consistent role in the pass game keeps his weekly floor incredibly low.

Eagles C Jason Kelce reportedly needs surgery to repair a hernia.

It's the latest blow to a mangled Eagles offensive line. Kelce will reportedly be out 6-8 weeks, leaving David Molk to step in at center. This is a unit that was already without RT Lane Johnson (4-game suspension), RT Allen Barbre (ankle) and stud LG Evan Mathis (knee). An offensive line that was nothing short of dominant last season is now playing at a bottom-five level.

Lions will sign K Alex Henery.

Nate Freese bungled his big chance, missing four field goals in three games. Henery steps into a dream opportunity for production with the Lions, but recent accuracy woes caused him to lose his job in Philly. He'll be a boom or bust fantasy kicking option weekly.
Sep 22 - 11:33 AM

Lions waived K Nate Freese.

Freese, a seventh-round rookie, has gone 3-of-7 on field goals so far. This comes after going 20-of-20 at Boston College last year. He'll be replaced by Alex Henery, who lost his job in Philly to Cody Parkey.

The Bears remain optimistic that Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) and Brandon Marshall (ankle) will play in Monday night's game against the Jets.

The Bears have been expecting each of their starting wideouts to play all week. In fact, there's reason to believe they're healthier now than they were against the 49ers when they combined for eight catches, 95 yards and three touchdowns. We'll have official word around 7pm ET.
