Texans rookie TE Anthony Hill is done for the year after tearing his ACL in the team's Week 14 win over Seattle.
A fourth-round pick out of N.C. State, Hill's rookie season ends with one catch for nine yards in just five appearances. He was unable to crack the game-day roster before Owen Daniels' season-ending injury at midyear. Hill also tore his ACL as a junior for the Wolfpack, and this is the same knee. "He's got a long road ahead of him," coach Gary Kubiak admitted.

Texans rookie TE Anthony Hill will be active for the first time this week thanks to Owen Daniels' and James Casey's injuries.
Hill, the team's fourth-round pick this season, is more of a blocker than a pass-catcher. He'll play behind Joel Dreessen and won't have fantasy value this season, although he may eventually have some upside as a receiver.

 James Casey-TE - Texans Nov. 2 - 4:47 pm et

Texans rookie TE James Casey will miss at least one game after undergoing surgery to repair meniscus damage in his knee.
Houston will likely install Joel Dreessen as its every-down tight end until Casey returns with Owen Daniels (torn ACL) done for 2009. Casey has just two catches for 14 yards on the year, with both grabs coming in Week 8. The Texans' other TE option is rookie Anthony Hill, but he's mostly a blocker.

 Joel Dreessen-TE - Texans Nov. 2 - 9:41 am et

Joel Dreessen is expected to be elevated to the starting lineup with TE Owen Daniels likely lost for the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.
Rookies James Casey and Anthony Hill will also move up the depth chart. Casey caught two passes after Daniels left and easily has the highest fantasy upside of the three remaining tight ends. Dreessen isn't worth a waiver flier this week.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak revealed Friday that TE Anthony Hill has been diagnosed with Swine Flu.
"Swine Flu" sounds bad, but it isn't with proper and quick treatment. Hill was originally diagnosed with pneumonia. The rookie is probably day to day.
