Todd Bodine

Germain Racing-NCTS
Aug. 7 - 4:59 pm et
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Todd Bodine has wins on two other concrete oval tracks on the NASCAR circuit but no concrete-track wins in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
With two top-five and three top-ten finishes in Truck Series action at Nashville Superspeedway, Bodine and his Lumber Liquidators Tundra crew are anxious to take another shot at claiming the coveted guitar trophy in Saturday’s Toyota Tundra 200. He has three Truck Series starts and five Nationwide Series starts; he’s led laps in both series on the concrete oval and his worst Truck Series finish at Nashville came in 2006 when he finished eighth. Bodine hopes his combined experiences will lead to success this season.

Aug. 7 - 4:55 pm et
Justin Marks, who drives the #9 Construct Corps Tundra for Germain Racing, lists Nashville toward the top of his list as a favorite track.
He enjoys music almost as much as he enjoys racing, so a win at Nashville would be extra special for the rookie driver. A Nashville Superspeedway trophy guitar would be a special treasure for Marks.Marks was a factory sports car driver before moving into the Tundra driver ranks in the Truck Series. That experience helps him completely understand the opportunity presented by a race like Nashville, in front of so many Toyota team members and associates.

Braun Racing-NNS
Aug. 7 - 4:49 pm et
Jason Leffler will pilot the same chassis in this weekend's Zippo 200 at the Watkins Glen International that he raced to a seventh place finish last weekend at Montreal.
In three Nationwide Series starts at Watkins Glen International, Leffer's best start was a 29th and best finish a 27th (both in last year's event).

Randy Moss Motorsports-NCTS
Aug. 7 - 4:36 pm et
Randy Moss Motorsports and the #81 Chevrolet Silverado will make its third start of the season with the 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year Willie Allen behind the wheel for the second time.
Nashville is hometown for Allen. He has one previous truck series start at Nashville Superspeedway - qualified ninth and finished 29th due to engine failure. He had one ARCA start at Nashville with a fifth place finish. Allen cut his teeth at the famed Nashville Music City Motorplex. Won two rookie of the year titles at the track in late models and supertrucks. Was named the 2006 NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series Points Champion at the track for the late model division.

Denny Hamlin

Braun Racing-NNS
Aug. 7 - 4:24 pm et
The Zippo 200 will mark Denny Hamlin’s sixth start with Braun Racing this season.
In five previous starts he has earned four top-10 finishes including two runner-up finishes in his last two outings at New Hampshire International Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway. Hamlin has three Nationwide Series starts at Watkins Glen International already under his belt. He finished inside the top-15 in two of those events, earning a 12th place finish in 2006 and a 14th place finish in 2007 after starting 10th in both races. He has also completed 98% of all laps possible.

Aug. 6 - 8:21 pm et
Saturday's Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International is more than a race on the Nationwide Series schedule for Marcos Ambrose and the No. 59 STP Ford; it's like being on vacation.
The two-time Ford V8 Supercar Series champion from Australia is at home on a road course. Ambrose finished third at Montreal last week after leading a race-best 27 of 48 laps. Watkins Glen brings a different kind of challenge, but one that Ambrose likes. The 2.45-mile, 11-turn track that used to host Formula One races is known for speed and passing zones. Ambrose also will attempt to race in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race for Wood Brothers Racing. That team also hopes to take advantage of Ambrose's road-racing skills.

JTG Daugherty Racing-NNS
Aug. 6 - 8:14 pm et
A year ago Kelly Bires watched the race at Watkins Glen from pit road when road-course specialist Andy Lally took controls of the team's Ford Fusion.
Because he's never competed at Watkins Glen, Bires will be required to race with a yellow bumper signifying his rookie status at the track. After Saturday, he never will have another yellow bumper during his Nationwide Series career. Bires is 14th in the NASCAR Nationwide Series standings with two Top-10 finishes in 23 starts for JTG Daugherty Racing.
