In the midst of a terrific season, Briny Baird will be attempting to become the PGA Tour's sixth first-time winner of 2008. It's time to tee up the AT&T Classic.

 Scott McCarron-GMay. 16 - 11:47 pm et
Scott McCarron played two rounds of the AT&T Classic in an aggregate 2-over par, missing the cut by two strokes.
McCarron was inside the cut line through 34 holes and then triple-bogeyed the par 3 8th to miss the weekend. It didn't help that he needed 63 putts after hitting a so-so 27 GIR. It leaves him with three starts on his medical extension to earn $345,988.
 Hunter Mahan-GMay. 16 - 11:24 pm et
Hunter Mahan is listed in the published field for next week's Colonial.
After one official WD and another early WD the last two weeks, Mahan would be motivated to return next week considering he lives in nearby Plano, Texas. Despite the local connection, his best finish in four starts at the Colonial is T-44 in 2005.

 Kris Cox-GMay. 16 - 10:02 pm et
Kris Cox shot 72-76=148 and missed the cut by four strokes at the AT&T Classic.
A total of 63 putts led to 10 bogeys in his two loops of TPC Sugarloaf and his fourth MC in as many starts in 2008. He started the week fresh off a T-8 at the Nationwide Tour's Fort Smith Classic, which was his first payday in six starts on that tour. Cox now has four events remaining on his PGA Tour medical extension to earn $748,451.
 Michael Bradley-GMay. 16 - 9:57 pm et
Michael Bradley played 36 holes of the AT&T Classic in an aggregate 3-over par, missing the cut by three strokes.
Bradley's tee-to-green game was good but he took a whopping 69 putts. It's just his third PGA Tour event of 2008 as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. Bradley now has 11 events remaining on his medical extension to earn $706,891.
 Olin Browne-GMay. 16 - 9:51 pm et
Olin Browne shot 73-74=147 at the AT&T Classic and missed the cut by three strokes.
Browne was accurate as usual off the tee, missing just two (of 28) fairways but his short game produced a mere four birdies, falling short of the cut line for the ninth time in 13 events this year. He's down to two starts on his medical extension to earn $404,088. Browne will try again at next week's Colonial, where he's listed in the published field.

 Parker McLachlin-GMay. 16 - 9:00 pm et
First-round co-leader, Parker McLachlin, carded a 2-under 70 in the second round of the AT&T Classic.
It was an up-and-down-and-up-again day for McLachlin. Twice, he went over par only to bring it back and then eagle the last. He stands four strokes behind the 36-hole lead and will be after his first PGA Tour win this weekend. McLachlin continues to shine in 2008.
 Todd Demsey-GMay. 16 - 8:03 pm et
Todd Demsey carded consecutive rounds of even par 72 to make the cut on the number at the AT&T Classic.
Demsey was an aggregate 3-under par with five holes to go, only to bogey the 14th, 15th and 16th holes. Eventually, it came down a six-inch putt on the par 5 to secure a Saturday tee time. This is his first made cut in nine starts on the PGA Tour this season. He doesn't have any fantasy value but you'd be hard-pressed to find a happier golfer tonight.
