Evan Silva breaks down all 13 Week 9 games.

 David Stewart-T-TitansNov. 6 - 8:48 pm et
Titans RT David Stewart (hamstring) is expected to start in Week 9 despite being injured in Thursday's practice and sitting out Friday.
"Right now we are expecting him to play," coach Jeff Fisher confirmed. Stewart, a mauling run blocker on the strong side, is listed as questionable on the injury report. His presence will help Chris Johnson's cause.

 Ernie Sims-LB-LionsNov. 6 - 7:53 pm et
The Lions plan to continue rotating Ernie Sims and rookie DeAndre Levy at weak-side linebacker.
Coordinator Gunther Cunningham says he'll "ride the hot hand." Sims has 22 tackles and one fumble recovery on the year, while Levy has 31 stops, a pick, and a forced fumble. It's a situation to stay away from in IDP leagues.

 Anquan Boldin-WR-CardinalsNov. 6 - 7:16 pm et
According to ESPN's John Clayton, Anquan Boldin (questionable, ankle) looked "great" on the practice field Friday and is expected to suit up Sunday against the Bears.
Clayton concedes Boldin's injury is "very close" to a high ankle sprain and that he's officially a game-day decision, but most signs point to him facing Chicago. The Bears host the Cardinals in a 1ET PM game Sunday, so we'll know Boldin's status around 12ET. He'd be impossible to bench if he's active.
 Richard Collier-T-JaguarsNov. 6 - 6:58 pm et
A jury has convicted a man for the attempted murder of ex-Jaguars OT Richard Collier in September of 2008.
Tyrone Hartsfield, 33, could serve as long as life in prison for the six gunshots that left Collier paralyzed, ending his NFL career. "I feel like I didn't receive a fair trial," said Hartfield, composing himself after "going into hysterics" in court. Collier knocked out Hartsfield in a bar brawl months prior to the shooting, so he had a motive. All six shots were to Collier's back.

 Anthony Smith-DB-JaguarsNov. 6 - 5:48 pm et
Jaguars claimed S Anthony Smith off waivers from the Rams.
Smith, a once promising former Steelers third-round pick, is now on his fourth NFL team. His biggest downfall has been lack of improvement on special teams. Smith will back up Gerald Alexander and Sean Considine.
 Scott Starks-DB-JaguarsNov. 6 - 5:46 pm et
Jaguars placed CB Scott Starks (hip) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Jacksonville has long been high on the speedy Starks' potential, but he's been a disappointment in the NFL like many former Wisconsin Badgers. Starks is one of the most injury-prone players in the league.
 Lawrence Timmons-LB-SteelersNov. 6 - 5:38 pm et
Steelers ILB Lawrence Timmons (ankle, questionable) missed practice again on Friday.
Timmons is looking like a no-go for Monday Night Football. The explosive inside linebacker would be replaced in the starting lineup by Keyaron Fox.
