 Julius Peppers-DL- Panthers Nov. 21 - 10:01 am et

Coach John Fox isn't letting anyone know about the nature, or severity, of Julius Peppers' hand injury.
"I could say, but I probably wouldn't," said Fox. Peppers injured his hand two weeks ago against New Orleans and has predominantly played on only passing downs since. Last week Fox would only go as far as saying that Peppers' hand is "messed up," while LB Jon Beason told reporters it was broken. Peppers has seven sacks on the season.
 Roscoe Parrish-WR- Bills Nov. 21 - 9:51 am et

Bills' interim coach Perry Fewell was non-committal when asked if PR/WR Roscoe Parrish will be active this week.
Parrish had been benched for the past handful of games by fired coach Dick Jauron. He has led the NFL in punt return average each of the past two seasons before struggling earlier this season. Fred Jackson has been handling kick/punt return duties.
 Haloti Ngata-DL- Ravens Nov. 21 - 9:35 am et

Ravens NT Haloti Ngata (ankle) insists he will play on Sunday against the Colts.
Ngata is listed as questionable and has missed the team's last two games. Baltimore missed their big run stuffer in Week 9 when Cedric Benson gashed them for 117 yards and a score. The Ravens could use him this week against Joseph Addai and Donald Brown.
 Josh Wilson-DB- Seahawks Nov. 21 - 9:23 am et

With the Seahawks expected to be without CB Josh Wilson (concussion) on Sunday, coach Jim Mora says that Kelly Jennings will start in his place.
Wilson has been starting at right corner opposite Marcus Trufant, where Jennings will now fill in. This is a very favorable matchup for Brett Favre and the Vikings' passing game.

 Bills Offense-TM- Bills Nov. 21 - 9:14 am et

Bills owner Ralph Wilson was trying to line up the team's next head coach even before Dick Jauron was fired this past week.
According to a Buffalo TV station, the Bills and Wilson "went after Jon Gruden hard." Their efforts reportedly included a face-to-face meeting. If the Bills had, in fact, landed Gruden, they would have violated the Rooney Rule because no minority candidate was interviewed. Gruden just signed an "exclusive" deal to remain with ESPN on Monday.
 Antonio Pierce-LB- Giants Nov. 20 - 8:48 pm et

The Giants announced late Friday that MLB Antonio Pierce will be out indefinitely after a bulging disc was discovered in Pierce's neck.
Pierce was "shocked" by the news. He practiced on Friday, but experienced discomfort afterwards and was hospitalized for tests. An MRI revealed the injury, which may threaten Pierce's season. His loss is a blow to a Giants run defense that has underachieved all year. Chase Blackburn will likely take over in the middle, with Michael Boley now healthy at weak-side linebacker.

 Phillip Buchanon-DB- Lions Nov. 20 - 7:47 pm et

Phillip Buchanon and Will James have finally settled in as the Lions' starting cornerbacks.
It only took half a season for Detroit to find the "right" mix. They still have the NFL's No. 32 pass defense. The Lions targeted Buchanon to be their No. 1 corner in the offseason. He was benched early on and has regained his job, but hasn't picked off a pass all year. He has 25 tackles and a forced fumble.

 Brandon Marshall-WR- Broncos Nov. 20 - 6:54 pm et

Brandon Marshall (neck, probable) practiced in full again Friday.
Marshall won't miss Week 11, but using him in fantasy leagues is a high-risk, if high-upside move. He'll either be playing with a QB that is hurt (Kyle Orton) or one that looked totally inept in the second half of Week 10 (Chris Simms). We'd take Marshall's upside and use him against San Diego.
 Michael Bush-RB- Raiders Nov. 20 - 6:21 pm et

Coach Tom Cable revealed Friday that Michael Bush will be the Raiders' starting tailback in Week 11 against Cincinnati.
Bush started Week 10 and had 119 yards on 14 carries against the Chiefs, but now faces the Bengals' No. 2 rush defense. This is a situation to avoid in fantasy leagues. Justin Fargas got the goal-line carries last Sunday and Darren McFadden's role figures to grow on a weekly basis as he continues to recover from in-season knee surgery. Bush is only a desperate flex play.
 Correll Buckhalter-RB- Broncos Nov. 20 - 5:44 pm et

Correll Buckhalter (probable, knee) returned to Broncos practice in full Friday.
The probable tag means the Broncos consider Buckhalter "virtually certain" to be available for his normal role in the offense. However, he saw just two touches last week to Knowshon Moreno's 20 after a first-quarter fumble and may be being weeded out of the offense. Coach Josh McDaniels has shown signs all year that he wants Moreno to take over the featured back role.
 Antonio Gates-TE- Chargers Nov. 20 - 5:42 pm et

Antonio Gates (probable, foot) practiced in full again on Friday.
Gates is certain to start Sunday against the Broncos. He's been getting Wednesday practices off to rest the foot he had surgery on prior to the 2008 season. Gates is a top-five fantasy tight end in all formats.
 Matthew Stafford-QB- Lions Nov. 20 - 5:22 pm et

Matthew Stafford (probable, knee) returned to a full practice Friday.
This is Stafford's first full practice in over a month, which bodes well for his health and Calvin Johnson's fantasy owners. Stafford was struggling to consistently connect with Calvin while battling his bum knee earlier on.
 Jamal Lewis-RB- Browns Nov. 20 - 5:21 pm et

Jamal Lewis (questionable, ankle) was limited in Friday's practice.
Lewis will play against Detroit, but isn't even a good flex play because of his decreasing role in an awful Cleveland offense and declining ability.
 Jermichael Finley-TE- Packers Nov. 20 - 4:58 pm et

Jermichael Finley (knee, probable) practiced in full again Friday.
Finley didn't miss one rep at Packers practice this week. He's worth stashing as a TE2, but wouldn't be a good fantasy start Sunday vs. San Francisco.

 Cary Harris-DB- Bills Nov. 20 - 4:37 pm et

Bills signed DB Cary Harris off their practice squad.
Harris was a sixth-round pick out of USC in April. He's too slow to play corner for most teams, but Buffalo's Tampa 2 scheme suits his skills as a sure tackler. He may also see some action at free safety on the practice field.
 Keith Ellison-LB- Bills Nov. 20 - 4:35 pm et

Bills placed OLB Keith Ellison (quadriceps) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Ellison presumably tore his quads when he went down early this month. 26 in February, Ellison is eligible for free agency in the offseason. He was averaging an outstanding 8.5 tackles per game before the injury, but would be a backup/nickel linebacker on a good team. Ellison doesn't play the run well.
 Stephen Peterman-G- Lions Nov. 20 - 4:30 pm et

Lions placed RG Stephen Peterman (ankle surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season.
By putting him on I.R. with seven games left, the Lions are essentially admitting that Peterman's ankle surgery was extensive. He probably could've came back from a "scope" in a few weeks. Peterman, 28 in January, signed a new five-year deal last offseason. He will likely return as a starter in 2010.

 Eric Fowler-WR- Lions Nov. 20 - 4:28 pm et

Lions signed WR Eric Fowler off their practice squad.
Fowler looked good on the practice field in training camp, but the Grand Valley State product will focus on special teams if he's active on game days.

 Brett Favre-QB- Vikings Nov. 20 - 4:23 pm et

Brett Favre (hip) is listed as probable for Week 11.
he practiced without restrictions Friday after being limited on Thursday and Wednesday. Favre is a top-ten fantasy option Sunday versus Seattle.
 Bernard Berrian-WR- Vikings Nov. 20 - 4:22 pm et

Bernard Berrian (hamstring) was limited in practice again Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 11.
Whether or not Berrian's injury is limiting his explosiveness, he's not a fantasy option against the Seahawks. Berrian hasn't topped 47 yards in six weeks.
