Jonas Jerebko was quiet in his second straight start on Tuesday, playing just 15 minutes with six points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Jason Maxiell (eight points, six rebounds) played 27 minutes tonight, which came at the expense of Jerebko. He's worth keeping an eye on while he's starting, but there are too many things that can go wrong for him in Detroit's crowded rotation.

Beat writer Patrick Hayes says that Jason Maxiell seems to play worse when given more minutes.
Maxiell was always big on potential, but now we're seeing why he struggled to get burn. He's gotten 15 starts this season but produced just 6.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 0.1 blocks in those games. Maxiell now looks more like a career bench player than a guy with upside.

Chris Wilcox returned from a back injury Wednesday but played just eight minutes and failed to score.
We're guessing his back is still bothering him and Jason Maxiell, who had 12 points, three boards, two steals and a block tonight, has played well in two straight games. Wilcox has been starting recently, but Maxiell could be on the verge of stealing his job.

Chris Wilcox played just eight minutes and sat out the second half on Monday with a back injury.
Jason Maxiell stepped up in his absence, finishing with 13 points and six rebounds.

Chris Wilcox started at power forward Monday and had 10 points and six rebounds in 27 minutes.
The Pistons were embarrassed by the Bulls on their way to a 13th straight loss. Wilcox could post numbers like this on a regular basis if he continues to start, so keep an eye on him. Jason Maxiell, who he replaced in the lineup, played just six scoreless minutes off the bench.

Jason Maxiell started over Jonas Jerebko on Wednesday and hit 1-of-5 shots for five points, seven rebounds and two steals in 15 minutes.
He won't be worth owning if he's only going to get 15 minutes, but if he can stick in the starting lineup, he's worth keeping a close eye on. The Pistons have now lost 11 straight games, and appear to be too deep for their own good, as well as employ a rookie head coach. Jerebko is apparently done, at least for now, after playing just two minutes tonight.
