Ian Mahinmi played for the first time since the 2007-08 season on Sunday, and set career-highs in scoring and rebounding with 15 points and nine rebounds.
Talk about coming out of nowhere. He hit a perfect 6-of-6 shots from the field, and added an assist and a block. This line is the definition of a fluke, and until he actually steps foot on the court in multiple games, he warrants no consideration in fantasy leagues.

The Spurs have elected not to extend the contract of third-year forward-center Ian Mahinmi.
Mahinmi has been limited to just six regular season games in his career because of injuries and inexperience, which makes him irrelevant in fantasy leagues, of course.

Spurs' forward Ian Mahinmi has been assigned to the team's D-League affiliate in Austin.
Mahinmi, who had surgery on his right ankle in January, has yet to play for the Spurs this season. He was not expected to play again this season, but it looks like he will get some run in the D-League to wrap up the year.

Ian Mahinmi, who has missed the entire year with various ankle injuries, is not expected to play again this season for the Spurs or their D-league affiliate.
"It's unfortunate that we miss him for the entire year," coach Greg Popovich said. "Not because we thought he was going to average 20 (points) and 10 (rebounds). We have no clue. We wanted to see how he'd respond and what we had. And we still don't know."
