Bulls' beat writer John Jackson believes that "Whether he's dealt before the Feb. 18 trade deadline or let go this summer when he becomes a restricted free agent, [Tyrus] Thomas' days with the Bulls' are numbered."
Thomas was recently suspended one game for cursing out coach Vinny Del Negro, who had benched him for a series of awful plays. He has tons of potential but it sounds like he'll be in the doghouse as long as he remains in Chicago.

Tyrus Thomas, who was suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team, is expected to return to action on Tuesday.
"We need to get Tyrus back in practice Monday and ready for our game Tuesday," coach Vinny Del Negro said. Thomas wasn't getting many minutes before his latest setback, and should probably be on fantasy benches until after the All-Star break.

Taj Gibson posted mediocre numbers with Tyrus Thomas (suspension) out, finishing with eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with seven rebounds, two blocks, a steal, and an assist in 24 minutes of run.
He has been far from reliable in fantasy leagues, despite getting enough playing time to have the opportunity to do some damage. It may be tempting to pick him up with Joakim Noah (foot) out and Thomas fighting with Vinny, but there are no indications that Gibson will figure things out.

The Bulls have suspended forward Tyrus Thomas one game for conduct detrimental to the team. He will not play vs. the Heat on Saturday.
Thomas and coach Vinny Del Negro have had their share of conflict, and this will only fuel the recent trade rumors swirling around the promising PF. With Joakim Noah (plantar fasciitis) already sidelined, expect to see plenty of Brad Miller and Taj Gibson.

The Bulls may look to trade Tyrus Thomas for expiring contracts, in order to clear enough cap space to pursue two big-name free agents this summer.
Thomas has been mentioned in a recent rumor that would send him and Kirk Hinrich to Boston in exchange for Ray Allen. The Bulls are said to be targeting Dwyane Wade as their #1 option, followed by Joe Johnson.

Tyrus Thomas and John Salmons scored all eight of the bench points for the Bulls on Friday, but didn't look good doing so.
Thomas had four points and four boards, while Salmons had four points and almost nothing else on 2-of-7 shooting. We thought Thomas might be able to do something with Joakim Noah out with a foot injury, but he only played 16 minutes tonight. Both of these guys should be benched until they get it going.
