 Jerome James-C- BullsJan. 26 - 1:59 pm et
The Arlington Daily Herald speculates that the Bulls could add free agent Jerome James if they're looking for a big man.
James is still rehabbing from his ruptured Achilles tendon and there's no word on if he's been medically cleared yet. Even if he signs, he'd just fill Aaron Gray's old chair at the end of the bench.

 Caron Butler-G/F - Wizards Jan. 3 - 6:48 pm et

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the Bulls and Wizards are discussing a trade that would send Caron Butler to the Bulls for Kirk Hinrich.
The deal may also include the expiring contracts of Jerome and Mike James, although the contracts of Butler and Hinrich are close enough to make the deal work on their own. If consummated, Butler shouldn't take a hit in value with the trade, although Hinrich may (depending on Gilbert Arenas' status). Stay tuned.

 Tyrus Thomas-F - Bulls Dec. 4 - 12:36 am et

According to Yahoo! Sports columnist Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bulls and Knicks are in serious discussions about a trade that would send Tyrus Thomas to the Knicks in exchange for Al Harrington and Jerome James.
"Nothing is imminent, but both sides would like to figure out a way to do this," said one league executive according to the report. The idea of the athletic Thomas playing in the Knicks' uptempo offense is certainly appealing, and if he's on your league's waiver wire he deserves a pickup to see where this goes. Harrington on the other hand, probably takes a small hit in value if he lands in Chicago, but not by much.

 Jerome James-C - Bulls Sep. 27 - 9:36 am et

Bulls backup center Jerome James (Achilles) shot around on Saturday and hopes to be ready to play in a couple of months.
A conservative prediction: Jerome James will not play in an NBA game this season. Even when healthy James wouldn't add anything valuable to the Bulls young frontcourt.

 Larry Hughes-G - Knicks Feb. 19 - 2:10 pm et

The Bulls have traded Larry Hughes to the Knicks for Tim Thomas and Jerome James, according to ESPN.
Hughes should be picked up in most leagues, as he's going to get run for the still short-handed Knicks. Thomas didn't hold much value in New York and will take a hit in Chicago, where he was once sent home for good by Scott Skiles.
 Tim Thomas-F - Mavericks Feb. 19 - 1:30 pm et

League sources have indicated that Tim Thomas and Jerome James could be sent to Chicago in exchange for Larry Hughes.
James' career is over due to a ruptured Achilles and Thomas has already had a run with the Bulls. And that run resulted in him being sent home permanently for poor practice habits, which is one of the reasons the Bulls want to lose Hughes. However, Hughes would get some run for the Knicks and would be worth a pickup if this deal goes down. But for now, these are simply just more rumors.
