Jason Terry scorched the Warriors for a season-high 36 points in Monday's victory, making 9-of-17 FGs, 6-of-9 threes, and 12-of-13 FTs. He also had six rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
Yes, this came against Golden State. But in 10 starts this season Terry is averaging 18.2 points, 2.2 threes, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 37 minutes. Hopefully he'll keep it up -- the Mavericks have been seeking a reliable second scorer behind Dirk, and Terry is the most likely man for the job.

Mavericks guard Jason Terry scored 19 points on Monday, adding two 3-pointers, eight assists, four steals and one block in a disappointing loss to the Jazz.
The starting gig agrees with Terry, who has now scored 18+ points in five straight games. He's a great source of points and 3s, and gets just enough assists and steals to keep owners happy.

Mavericks guard Jason Terry made his fourth consecutive start at SG on Tuesday, racking up 21 points, four 3-pointers, four assists and one steal.
His presence as a starter continues to limit Josh Howard's upside -- Howard finished with 13 points and three rebounds in 21 minutes.

Mavericks' point guard Jason Kidd will miss Sunday's game due to personal reasons.
It doesn't sound like a serious issue, but this is painful news for Kidd owners to wake up to. Look for Jason Terry or Roddy Beaubois to start at point guard, and for J.J. Barea to see a bump in minutes and production. He is expected to play Tuesday against the Bucks.

Jason Terry started Friday night's loss to the Sixers but had just four points and four assists.
Terry somehow had three blocks, salvaging a miserable night in which he got 34 minutes. He also may have nicked his knee as trainers were taking a look at it late in the fourth quarter. We doubt it's serious and with Josh Howard (illness) looking healthy, Jet should be ready for his sixth man role next time out.

Jason Terry could start Friday against the Sixers even with Josh Howard (illness) expected to be in uniform, due to the fact that the Sixers have a smaller backcourt.
Terry should already be in most lineups, and this news makes him a better play than normal, especially if Josh Howard (illness) is limited or doesn't play.
