Tyson Chandler finally returned from his foot injury on Tuesday, coming off the Bobcats bench for five points, five rebounds and two turnovers in 10 minutes.
Nazr Mohammed is a better offensive player, but Tyson is a superior defender (particularly in the pick and roll). We expect a timeshare to persist all season, and so far this season Chandler hasn't given us much reason for optimism. Use him with caution, and only as a boards & blocks specialist.

Bobcats center Tyson Chandler (foot) expects to return to action on Tuesday.
He's unlikely to start and definitely won't play many minutes, but is worth keeping an eye on if you need rebounds and blocks. With Nazr Mohammed playing very well, however, minutes might be hard to come by.

Tyson Chandler went through a full practice on Monday, although it's still not clear if he'll be in the lineup on Tuesday.
He's been out with a foot injury and we would not recommend using him until you've seen him play a couple games.

Tyson Chandler (foot) will not be cleared to play on Saturday after all.
Bobcats coach Larry Brown planned on activating Chandler against his old team, the Hornets, though he didn't intend to start him or give him heavy minutes. Tyson hasn't played since before Christmas and should be viewed skeptically in fantasy leagues, but feel free to stash him away if you need a big man.

Tyson Chandler (foot) put in a full practice on Friday for the first time since being diagnosed with a stress reaction just before Christmas.
Chandler does not anticipate being activated for Saturday's game, but his return is not far off. Still, his role remains to be seen. The Bobcats are actively shopping for a veteran big man and Nazr Mohammed has actually played decent as a starter. To make matters worse for Chandler, the Bobcats have gone 13-8 since he's been out. We're not expecting big things.

Tyson Chandler (foot) is targeting to return to the lineup next week despite still being notably absent from practice.
Chandler participated in workouts on Wednesday and Thursday but has yet to practice. Even when healthy this season Chandler's production has been disappointing.
