Mike Conley overcame foul trouble for 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Hornets.
Conley has not had a fantastic season, but is a serviceable point guard and could be setting up for a nice second half. Jamaal Tinsley had 14 points, five boards and five assists while filling in off the bench, while Rudy Gay led the way with 26 points. Zach Randolph had 25 & 12, Marc Gasol scored 15 and O.J. Mayo had 15 and a season-high eight assists as all five Memphis starters scored 12 or more points.

Jamaal Tinsley returned on Saturday after missing one game for personal reasons. He had three points and five assists in 20 minutes.
Even without Mike Conley (general soreness) available, Tinsley came off the bench behind Marcus Williams. He is averaging 3.8 points, 3.2 assists and 1.0 steals in under 17 minutes per game.

Mike Conley had just seven points and four assists in 24 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Jazz.
This looked like a good matchup for Conley, as Jamaal Tinsley was out for Memphis, and Deron Williams for Utah. But he just didn't have much to offer, hitting 3-of-9 shots. Marcus Williams backed him up and hit just 1-of-9 shots for four points and two assists. Conley has really struggled in three straight games, but we're not ready to dump him just yet. Let's see what happens over the weekend.

Mike Conley should get most of the minutes at point guard tonight, as long as he can stay out of foul trouble.

Mike Conley had seven points and five assists in 28 minutes on Tuesday. He lost more playing time than usual to backup Jamaal Tinsley because of foul trouble, eventually fouling out.
Tinsley had four points and six assists in 20 minutes. The starting PG job firmly belongs to Conley, and we aren't reading anything into this game.

Mike Conley hit 7-of-11 shots and five 3-pointers for 19 points, five boards and eight assists in Friday's win.
