Bulls guard Jannero Pargo recently visited a hip specialist, but the source of his pain isn't entirely clear.
Pargo said the Bulls' physician believes the problem is muscular, while the specialist thinks it could be a bone-on-bone issue. "We're going to try some medication and more rehab for two weeks," Pargo said. "If it doesn't get any better, then we'll take further action, which may involve sitting down for a while."

Jannero Pargo played through his hip injury Friday, scoring nine points.
He could be on the verge of being shut down with the injury, but had three boards, two assists and two threes tonight, as he continues to get run in the absence of Kirk Hinrich, who continues to sit with a thumb injury.

Jannero Pargo missed practice Thursday to visit a hip specialist in Philadelphia.
"He's had tightening of the back and hip that has bothered him since the beginning (of the season)," coach Vinny Del Negro said. "We need to get him to feel better so he can be more productive." This is only the latest in a series of nagging injuries for Pargo, whose aches and pains are becoming a concern. Still, Del Negro said Pargo would meet the team in Cleveland and could still play Friday.

Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich will miss one to two weeks with a left sprained thumb ligament.
The good news is that it sounds like he won't need surgery. Jannero Pargo will get some extra run in his absence, but probably isn't worth owning. And at this point, it's debatable whether Hinrich is worth hanging onto or not.

Bulls guard Jannero Pargo practiced on Saturday despite battling soreness in his right shoulder.
"Right now, it’s bothering me a lot. I can barely lift it up," Pargo said. "But I practiced today. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal." He could get a nice boost if Kirk Hinrich misses any games, but we wouldn't rely on him for consistent value.

Coach Vinny Del Negro on Friday hinted at making some changes to the Bulls' playing rotation.
Kirk Hinrich and Brad Miller have struggled shooting and Jannero Pargo has barely played as he recovers from back and hip injuries. Del Negro gave no specifics, but if Pargo heals up, we expect to eventually see an increase in his minutes. Pargo is a risk, but could pay dividends later in the season.
