Mike Cameron suffered a mild concussion on Sunday afternoon after making a diving catch in the outfield.
"I think I hit my head when I slammed into the ground," Cameron said. "It's just weird, a weird feeling. I caught the ball, though. I've done it a few times." The 36-year-old free agent has suffered several concussions throughout his career. That's something potential suitors will want to make note of. He finished the year with a .250 batting average, 24 homers and 70 RBI.

 Mike Cameron-OF - Brewers Sep. 22 - 2:07 pm et

According to Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune, Mike Cameron is expected to be on the Cubs' radar during the offseason.
The Cubs would like to move Kosuke Fukudome back to right field, and since 2006 first-round pick Tyler Colvin probably won't be ready to be a full-time player in 2010, Cameron would be a pretty good fit. Even better, the Cubs won't have to worry about any distractions, as Cameron has one of the best reputations in the game. The 36-year-old veteran is batting .255/.348/.453 with 21 homers and 64 RBI this season. He slugged two home runs against the Cubs on Monday night.

Mike Cameron (hamstring strain) is back in the Brewers' lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks.
Cameron missed a majority of the week with soreness and spasms in his strained hamstring. He's batting second and playing center field Friday night as the Brewers kick off a series in Arizona.

 Mike Cameron-OF - Brewers Sep. 7 - 5:33 pm et

Mike Cameron is out until at least Friday with his strained hamstring.
"If I'm out, you know it's bad," Cameron said. "It's not good. It's spasming right now." Cameron was hurt on Saturday and has not played since. The Brewers are well equipped to deal with his furlough -- when Corey Hart returns from a rehab assignment Tuesday, the club will have seven active outfielders.

Mike Cameron is not in the starting lineup for a second straight game Sunday.
It is not clear if Cameron is just getting a day off or if he is hurt. Adam McCalvy says he heard that "Cameron has quietly been playing on an injured ankle." Stay tuned.

 Jody Gerut-OF - Brewers Aug. 30 - 12:37 pm et

Jody Gerut is in the lineup Sunday to give Mike Cameron a day off.
Gerut has been hot lately, 13-for-39 over his last 26 games. He won't fight his way into more playing time in center, but could see a bit more playing time the rest of the way as the Brewers begin to evaluate for the 2010 season.
