Scott Spiezio has signed with the Orange County Flyers of the independent Golden Baseball League.
Spiezio joins a squad filled with former major leaguers Damian Jackson, Robert Fick and Ben Johnson. The team is even managed by a former major leaguer, Phil Nevin. Spiezio, 36, hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2008, when the Braves took a chance on him. |
