Justin Huber is reportedly on his way to play for the Hiroshima Carp in Japan.
Huber was recently outrighted to Triple-A, but he'll instead pack his bags for Japan. Back in the day, the 27-year old was a decent catching/first base prospect. He hit .273/.355/.482 in 121 games for Rochester during the 2009 season and has been a solid Triple-A contributor for a few years now. It wouldn't surprise us to see Huber establish himself in Japan and return stateside in a few years.

 Justin Huber-1B - Twins Nov. 9 - 4:04 pm et

Twins sent first baseman-outfielder Justin Huber outright to Triple-A Rochester.
Once upon a time Huber was a solid catching prospect, but the 27-year-old is now little more than Triple-A depth or a possible bench bat. He hit .273/.355/.482 in 121 games at Triple-A this season.
 Justin Morneau-1B - Twins Sep. 15 - 12:37 am et

The Twins said after Monday's game that Justin Morneau will miss the rest of the season with a stress fracture in his lower back.
Well, that certainly explains why his season turned so sour in a hurry. Carlos Gomez, Delmon Young, Brian Buscher and Justin Huber all figure to divide up Morneau's at-bats, with Michael Cuddyer frequently starting at first base. It probably doesn't make Gomez or Young worth using in mixed leagues, but Buscher now has some value in AL-only leagues. Joe Mauer can look forward to being walked a whole bunch in the coming weeks.
 Justin Morneau-1B - Twins Sep. 14 - 4:37 pm et

Justin Morneau is out of the lineup Monday as he continues to deal with back stiffness.
Michael Cuddyer is starting at first base. Jason Kubel is also resting against Cleveland lefty Jeremy Sowers, giving Justin Huber his first start for the Twins at designated hitter.

 Justin Huber-1B - Twins Sep. 7 - 8:57 am et

Twins purchased the contract of outfielder-first baseman Justin Huber from Triple-A Rochester.
Huber, a 27-year-old Australian, hit .273/.354/.483 with 22 home runs and 76 RBI in 439 at-bats this season with Rochester. He can be used as a late-innings power threat, but isn't likely to gain enough playing time for fantasy consideration.
 Justin Huber-1B - Twins May. 2 - 3:07 am et

Playing in just his second game of the season, Justin Huber hit a grand slam Friday for Triple-A Rochester.
His previous appearance came Saturday and he homered and doubled then. Huber, who played for Australia in the WBC, has been bothered by hamstring problems since the beginning of the season. Unfortunately, that's nothing new for him, and one gets the feeling that even if he could earn another opportunity to play in the majors, he'd just get hurt again soon thereafter.
