Percy Harvin caught five balls for 38 yards in the Vikings' NFC title game loss to New Orleans. He also ran four times for 15 yards.
Including the playoffs (and not kick return totals), Harvin amassed 1,002 yards in '09 en route to Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. He also scored eight touchdowns (six receiving, two on kickoffs). The most explosive player on the Vikings' roster, Harvin's 2010 fantasy upside would obviously be crushed if Brett Favre retires. If Favre returns, Harvin will be a quality WR3 pick and strong WR2 in return-yardage formats.

Percy Harvin is active for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
Minnesota's inactives are WR Jaymar Johnson, third QB Sage Rosenfels, CB Karl Paymah, TE Garrett Mills, LB J Leman, C Jon Cooper, DT Letroy Guion, and RB Albert Young. Harvin's availability is very good news for the Vikings with top WR Sidney Rice expected to draw double coverage from the Saints.

A source tells ESPN's Ed Werder that the migraines Percy Harvin dealt with this week were "less severe" than the ones he suffered earlier in the season.
Werder also confirms a FOX report that Harvin is on track to play at New Orleans. There's still no way to tell if Harvin will be a big part of the game plan after missing Thursday and Friday's practices. His return for Saturday's walkthrough, however, may have given the Vikings enough confidence to use him extensively on offense. He'll definitely be ready for kick returns.

The NFL Network reports that it's "so far, so good" on Percy Harvin's (migraines) status.
All reports have Harvin suiting up for Sunday's NFC Championship Game. The fact that he apparently woke up feeling fine is the last hurdle to clear. We're still not sure about Harvin's role, but owners in playoff leagues can pencil the rookie into their lineups.

Percy Harvin (migraines) was "feeling much better the past two days and will play" Sunday night, according to John Czarnecki of FOX.
As long as Harvin wakes up today feeling fine, all signs point to him giving it a go. But with the explosive rookie missing practice on Thursday and Friday, we can't be sure of his role. We'll get official confirmation of Harvin's status around 5:30 ET.

Percy Harvin (migraines) participated in Saturday's practice and team meetings after staying home Thursday and Friday.
Harvin is traveling with the team to New Orleans. His migraines had reportedly lessened by Saturday, but "the problem still lingers." Barring a setback, Harvin appears likely to suit up Sunday evening, though his exact role remains up in the air. The explosive kickoff returner and slot receiver is the game's biggest X-factor.

According to beat writer Sean Jensen, Percy Harvin (migraines) is "fine" and expected to make the flight to New Orleans with his teammates.
Harvin is listed as "questionable" after missing two straight practices. While the report is encouraging, Harvin isn't out of the woods just yet. He'll have to make it to Sunday night without the migraines recurring. If history is any indication, his offensive role will be diminished even if he plays.

Percy Harvin (migraines), who did not practice on Thursday or Friday, is listed as questionable to play in the NFC Championship Game.
Harvin wasn't even at the Vikings' practice facility Friday, indicating he was away meeting with doctors. His migraines are unpredictable, so there's no way to tell if he'll play at New Orleans. Harvin's status is day to day.

Percy Harvin missed practice again on Friday with migraine headaches, putting his status for the NFC Championship Game in serious doubt.
The migraines are returning at a bad time for the Vikings, whose history in treating them suggest Harvin will be a game-time decision. His role on offense has also been minimal whenever he's missed significant practice time. Harvin's status won't be known until about 5:30PM ET Sunday.

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed that Percy Harvin missed Thursday's practice with a migraine headache.
There's no telling how long he'll be sidelined, though Childress believes he'll be "OK." While Harvin was able to play through the migraines early in the season, he missed one game and parts of another down the stretch. The Vikes passing attack suffered its biggest slump during those two weeks. Check back Friday for an update on Harvin's status.

Percy Harvin was not on the field as the Vikings practice opened Thursday.
DE Ray Edwards (knee) and DT Kevin Williams (knee) were also absent for a second straight day. Harvin is not known to be dealing with an injury, though beat writers are speculating that it could be a recurrence of migraines. Check back for an update on his status.

Percy Harvin caught just one pass for one yard and rushed three times for 23 yards in the Vikings' second-round playoff win.
Sidney Rice accounted for over 60% of Brett Favre's yards, leaving crumbs for the rest of Minnesota's receivers to sort through. Harvin didn't get any kick or punt return opportunities. Expect a bigger role against New Orleans.

Percy Harvin is expected to match up with Cowboys oft-burned nickel back Orlando Scandrick in Sunday's Divisional game.
Harvin is fully healthy and could be a key to the Vikings solving the Cowboys' red hot defense. Scandrick has been relegated to nickel duty since losing a battle with Mike Jenkins for the starting corner job early in the season.

The Associated Press has voted Vikings WR Percy Harvin the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Harvin was the runaway winner over runner up Michael Oher, receiving 41 out of a possible 50 votes. Harvin worked mostly out of the slot, catching 60 passes for 790 yards and six touchdowns. He was most dangerous in the return game, where he ranked third in the leauge in kickoff return average and brought back two for scores. Brett Favre's arrival was the main reason that the Vikings were the No. 2 offense after ranking 12th in 2008, but having a weapon like Harvin was an unexpected bonus.

Percy Harvin caught seven passes for 59 yards and rushed once for 22 yards in Week 17 against the Giants.
The rookie missed Week 14 and was used little in Week 15 because of migraine headaches and neck problems, but still finishes with 790 receiving yards, 135 rushing yards and a pair of return touchdowns. He proved to be a game-breaker for the vastly improved Vikings' passing game and was a far more polished receiver than many expected coming out of college.

Coach Brad Childress said Percy Harvin made it through Monday night's game with no ill effects from his migraines.
Harvin appeared to be left out of the game plan entirely in Week 15, and it took until the second half for him to get going in Monday's game. On a positive note, he was targeted seven times in the final two quarters while remaining a significant red-zone presence.

Percy Harvin caught four passes for 40 yards in Week 16.
Harvin, dealing with a neck injury and migraines of late, hasn't been much of a factor recently. He did all of his damage in the fourth quarter to help out his fantasy owners. Harvin and the Vikings take on the Giants next week.

Percy Harvin was not on the Vikings' final injury report.
Harvin practiced all week and no one seems concerned at all with the rookie's neck problems. He should resume a full workload as a major part of the game plan Monday night. He's safe to start as a WR3 against a struggling Bears' secondary.

Percy Harvin was upbeat after his successful visit to the Mayo Clinic earlier this week.
"Yeah, it's a relief," Harvin said. "Without going into [specifics], we had a great visit and came up with a great plan. I saw great doctors and it should be good from now on. I'm all good." The Vikings have expressed no concern over his reported neck injury. Harvin is not on the injury report this week and should be safe to use as a WR3 against the Bears Monday night.

Percy Harvin participated in Vikings practice Wednesday and is not on the team's Week 16 injury report.
Beat writer Sean Jensen notes that Harvin "looked explosive" running routes. He is very likely to be heavily involved in the team's game plan this week.
