Colts rookie TE Jacob Tamme caught five passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers Saturday night.

Colts agreed to terms with fourth-round TE Jacob Tamme on a four-year contract.
Essentially a rocked-up receiver, Tamme worked out of the slot in Kentucky's spread offense in college. He'll play special teams as a rookie and could be worth a look in deep leagues if Dallas Clark experiences injury problems.

Colts GM Bill Polian envisions rookie Jacob Tamme as an "H-back...in the mold of Dallas Clark."
"He’s taller and a little thinner, but an outstanding, acrobatic, big-play receiver," Polian said. Tamme is the heavy favorite to be Clark's main backup as a rookie. Polian thinks he blocks well enough for two-tight end sets.

Colts selected Kentucky TE Jacob Tamme with the No. 127 overall pick in the draft.
Tamme is only 6'4/235, but can run and produce as a situational player. He had 56 catches and averaged 11.1 YPC as a senior. Tamme will never be a starter in the league, but should combine with Bryan Fletcher to help behind Dallas Clark when Indianapolis uses its multi-tight end package.
