Matt Pettinger has been placed on waivers.
Oddly enough, he will play for Vancouver on Friday night against the Avalanche. The move was made to make room for the pending return of Daniel Sedin to the Canucks' lineup. "I kind of knew what the understanding was," Pettinger said. "Obviously they had a lot of injuries and a lot of them are healthy now. I thought I did a fairly good job and, with the converstions I had with them, they were happy, too. I'll find out tomorrow what my options are and move on from there." Source: Vancouver Sun
