Ned said, “…

Tiger Woods-- Woods' putting looked horrible at The Memorial, and I can see where you might want to fade him. He is a four-time winner this season, so I'm going to put him on the bench and use him if he is on the first page of the leaderboard.

Graeme McDowell-- I think McDowell and Phil Mickelson are a coin toss in this spot. I have more starts left with McDowell, so he gets the nod in the Yahoo! game, but I will use Mickelson in some of the other games I play.

Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia

Matt Kuchar-- He comes into this week red hot with a second place at Colonial and  championship at The Memorial. He use to have real problems in US Opens, but his last three starts in the event have been solid.

Steve Stricker-- Stricker has been a semi-retired schedule this year, so it's hard to get a real feel where his game is. His record at the US Open is good and a big advantage to using him this week is he has lots of starts in the Yahoo! game due to his schedule.

Webb Simpson-- He missed the cut at The Memorial, but coming into the event, he was playing well with a playoff second place at the Heritage and a T15 at THE PLAYERS. His limited US Open record is outstanding, with a T14 in '11 and a championship last year.

Jim Furyk-- It's tempting to take Justin Rose or the red hot Scott Stallings in this spot, but I'm going to opt for the veteran Jim Furyk. The sixteen-time winner on the TOUR has played steady golf this season and he has six top 10s in the US Open in 18 starts including a championship in 2003.

Justin Rose, Scott Stallings, Ernie Els, Luke Donald, Fredrik Jacobson

Adam Scott-- The US Open isn't Scott's strongest event, but he has played well in the last four majors, with the highlight being this year's Masters championship.

Charl Schwartzel-- This spot is another toss-up between Lee Westwood and Schwartzel. Normally, Westwood would be my pick, but I liked the way Schwartzel looked in his third place finish at the Byron Nelson and his T8 at The Memorial.

Lee Westwood, Matteo Manassero, Billy Horschel, Jason Day
