Welcome to Playing the Tips!

Each week this will be the one-stop resource to soak in all the picks from our group of fantasy staffers from Rotoworld.com. We’ll have all of our selections from the GolfChannel.com, Yahoo! Fantasy Golf plus my new expanded feature on my weekly selection for One-and-Done players.

CPIC

Glass ($12,539,696; Rank: 900)

@MikeGlasscott

I moved up EXACTLY one spot from 901 to 900. My plan of Gary Woodland having a better week than Marc Leishman did not come to fruition and I lost almost $200K on not playing the COD-LOCK-HORSE-FOR-COURSE. I don’t want to remind myself that Woodland began the final round ONE shot off the lead either. Jordan Spieth told us after round four how this course does NOT fit his eye but he’s hitting it great. Justin Hicks MC and Robert Allenby closed with 67 to finish T39. Sigh.

Group 1: Zach Johnson

Group 2: Ryan Palmer

Group 3: John Huh

Group 4: Kevin Kisner

ANALYSIS: Zach Johnson is the horse-for-course here and Ryan Palmer is a member so we’re taking our chances on experience. John Huh has been incredible in two starts on this track and comes in with his form rounding into shape. My “dark horse” last week finished T16 so he takes over in Group 4. How can a guy from Georgia be on TOUR and not have a win? #GOKISGO

Rob Bolton ($10,253,705; Rank: 5,680)

@RobBoltonGolf

Group 1: Zach Johnson

Group 2: Paul Casey

Group 3: John Huh

Group 4: Justin Hicks

ANALYSIS: Marc Leishman saved the day with T3 last week for Rob as Keegan Bradley continued his uneven play and his two, young, long shots didn’t fire. This week, he goes RIGHT BACK to Justin Hicks after watching me bust him last week. He HAD made eight cuts in a row up until that point! We’re both on Johnson and Huh so let’s have it!

Ryan O’Sullivan ($13,059,958; Rank: 524)

@RyanGolfBlogger

Group 1: Matt Kuchar

Group 2: Paul Casey

Group 3: Russell Knox

Group 4: Kevin Kisner

ANALYSIS: O took the safest option in Group 1 and he’s done it again this week with Kuchar. Along with Rob, the Casey confluence is in play this week with ball-striker Russell Knox. We’re ALL on Kisner this week. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!

Ned Brown ($13,991,991; Rank: 205)

@Esoxgolf

Group 1: Zach Johnson

Group 2: Ryan Palmer

Group 3: John Huh

Group 4: Kevin Kisner

ANALYSIS: With Kaymer and Keegan failing to bounce, Ned still kept his lead as none of us had Todd or Weir for the big money. This week, Ned and I share all four selections. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG??? Go, Ned, Go!!!
