Welcome to Playing the Tips!

Each week this will be the one-stop resource to soak in all the picks from our group of fantasy staffers from Rotoworld.com. We’ll have all of our selections from the GolfChannel.com, Yahoo! Fantasy Golf plus my new expanded feature on my weekly selection for One-and-Done players.

Deutsche Bank Championship

Glass ($20,769,935; Rank: 1,772)

Nothing like a 40 and a pair of MCs to highlight the week last week! McIlroy ended up T22 and Haas was T15 but no love from Watney and Ogilvy as they crashed and burned out of the FEC Playoffs. Hey, I took a shot with Haas and it didn’t work out and lost ground to the Fowler brigade.

Group 1: Adam Scott

Group 2: Patrick Reed

Group 3: Marc Leishman

Group 4: Bo Van Pelt

ANALYSIS:  With three events left, I’m going to swing for the fences and try and run the masterful Ned Brown down. Scott’s course history here was the determining factor in Group 1. Picking Fowler isn’t going to help me either this week if I want to boogie so it’s birdie-buster extraordinaire Reed in Group 2. Marc Leishman shoots 64 or so every time he hits the East coast so I’m down and BVP has put three of his last four in the top 14.

Rob Bolton ($18,761,537; Rank: 5,002)

Group 1: Rory McIlroy

Group 2: Jordan Spieth

Group 3: John Senden

Group 4: Brendan Steele

ANALYSIS: NO FOWLER THIS WEEK?!?!?!? We don’t match on any four so there is going to be some action between me and the boss this week! We both have at least on Aussie (#cmonAussie) and we each have a young stud. You want action? WE GOT ACTION!

Ryan O’ Sullivan ($20,254,559; Rank: 2,449)

Group 1: Rory McIlroy

Group 2: Hunter Mahan

Group 3: John Senden

Group 4: Kevin Chappell

ANALYSIS: No matches here either as I look to hold off O and chase down Ned. He’s firing with the FEC leader and going back to the man who hit T11 for him at the PGA, Kevin Chappell. He matches picks one and three with Rob.

Ned Brown ($22,931,197; Rank: 403)

Group 1: Rory McIlroy

Group 2: Rickie Fowler

Group 3: Ernie Els

Group 4: William McGirt

ANALYSIS: I don’t match any picks with Ned this week and that’s what I needed with only three weeks to go. Now gamers can see what leaders (Ned) and losers (Glass) have to do ice or chase.
